App wont load

Hey,

I'm able to go to the settlers online website and login. I downloaded the client, but it doesnt load. It tries to launch it in the browser instead of the client. The browser is very laggy.

Is there anything i can try to get the downloadable client to run instead of having it load in the browser?

Ive been looking it to it and it seems after downloading the client firefox and chrome are not adding it to their application lists. So the browser doesnt know to open the .exe

Do you have any ideas on why this is happening or how to fix it?

That step and subsequent ones need to be done for every browser u want to use
