i theory u'd expect new machines to run this smoothly- in practice .... so the most likely answer would be no better than others and maybe worse ) Best make decisions on your system independent of TSO though - that will save you regrets for sure
I play on an Intel Mac running OS Monterey.. it should work on a M1 chip as the game runs in browser. Now I have tried various browsers and found that Chrome works best. In Safari, the Macs native browser, the graphics become distorted - especially the star menu.
