What are the advantages of joining a Guild ?

I have looked but cannot find a thread which deals with this question .
So please be so kind and to enlighten me on why I should join or found a Guild .

if guild is big enough, a steady trickle of guildcoin so you can buy the good items from guild market cheaply )
