And since we don't know if the'll ever bother to fix all the bugs they introduced it might be advisable not to waste resources on the buildings?
My Observatory did absolutely nothing to the generals travel time. YOU HAD ONE JOB!!

Just got the Observatory up and running and bought the Star chart recipes, The detailed star chart buff showed that the gens would travel in 2 mins 4 secs, but they still took 8 mins 15 secs, it does not work
Same issue here. With detailed starchart (and gens skilled with 3 tomes on navigation) it states "2mins 4 sec" traveltime, but it takes the usual 8+ mins to get there. Not working. Please fix!
Support are aware of the issue with the Observatory. Some Generals are currently not receiving the added bonus from the star chart beng applied.
I just tried using my observatory with the detailed star chart. I had activated the scout buff seconds before. I sent all my generals to a YWC. Only my 2 MOD's and my transport units got there very fast. the rest were going to be normal time. However when those 3 generals landed, they just went into a continuous loop of setting up, then removing themselves and sometimes even swapping places. I could not break the loop to empty the transport gen and i could not move the MOD's into place, without them returning back to where they had landed. They just kept dancing through the routine. As I couldn't make use of them I cancelled the star chart buff on home island and then cancelled the adv. This whole event was so broken, buildings, buffs, bonuses. It has really ruined what should have been an interesting new experience.
Not working for me, corect time shows in sending screen, they travel standard time to adv.

Btw Support being aware is not relevant since they cannot do anything about it.
What is relevant is that the dev team is aware of it and has been for a long time. It was reported on test server several times when valentines event was released there and yet it was not fixed and we were not even notified. Its not even on the new known bugs list.
Releasing broken content and hiding their head in sand is kindergarten level stuff. Was expecting much better from current dev team.
So, do we buy the thing or not? f it is bugged and doesn't work then what a waste of flowers.
Come on BB tell us if it is worth buying please.

My gens still taking 8 minutes to arrive on adventure island.
I got it even though I saw it is bugged, because I really do want to use it. However, I do agree that letting it go live when it was already known to be bugged, and not having fixed it, is really bad, dev team. You dont get any vote of mine and as for buying gems to support you - nope, not till some of this constant glitching with every new bit of content and event is stopped.
Today: still not working. I am told that Vargus will travel to adventure in 2mins4sec. But on adventure he takes the usual 8 and a bit. BB, anyone awake? How often do we have to report this?
So I decided to do an experiment being fully aware that this is not working as intended and found that
1) generals that are booked with jog did not receive the bonus, generals with no books in jog all got the bonus (I do not have any generals booked with navigation crash course)
2) the fast generals all ended up in a cycle of not being able to land - as expected from the posts above
at this point I cancelled the adventure
the fast generals returned home and built their garrisons
I then cancelled the adventure - started the one I really wanted to do and went to send my now normal travel speed generals across - at this point they all disappeared and were back travelling home from adventure number 1.
At least the building looks nice - but rather expensive for a decoration - please can we get this fixed
We're definitely working on fixing the Observatory.
And the games keeps freezing when the zone effect is in place
I seem to be managing to get resources speedily to an adventure provided I send only one quartermaster at a time. More than one, they just loop through unloading & reloading themselves until I have to send them home with all their troops.
With the upcoming version (19.03.2019) we will introduce some additional changes in the background. We would like to ask you to give us new feedback in this thread after the new version is implemented about the behaviour of the mentioned generals and their travel times.

All my general are taking the normal amount of time apart from my QM which took a few mins. But when i try to unload him and retrench he gets to 40/ 50% dismantle and then he rebuilds so I cant do anything with him. Sorts itself out when all my other gens appear.
Still not working as it should no change of the travel time to any of the gens on a detailed star chart
My Quatermaster and MMA travel fast, but can“t bee unloaded before normal traveltime. Vargus, Major and normal general are traveling at normal time
Gens still just keep landing over and over again untill normal landing time is up.
My slow gens were the first to show up on adv.
How about Anslem? Are the Observatory buffs working on him as intended?
My 2 Claus quartermasters have always been fine. The ordinary quartermasters are OK if I get them into Star. I've found the easiest way is to have all the landing zones filled. Then they go to Star & empty automatically & I send them home again to reload. It means I have to send an unnecessary number of generals at the beginning but as my Tavern ones do nothing these days at least I've found a use for them. I hardly notice I'm doing this now. I only bother for the higher level adventures so a few extra minutes at the beginning are neither here nor there.
No problem with the other generals.
There is a way round most things.
Sent a mixture of generals to a WC. On despatch they all showed the fast time (ie with the buff) on the despatch display. On the adv island they were all showing the old unbuffed travel time. (Not sure about QM and QM clause as they never showed up on the time to go display). QM and QM Claus got there quickly as expected from Obs buff, then spent their time repeatedly landing until their normal time of arrival. Everything else (including Anslem) arrived at the normal time as if the Obs buff never existed.
