any progress on the lag issues with star/mail/long queues or slow loading in general?
And no news on the "man with the hammer bug" logging people out- an update would be useful b4 there is another wall of rage on forums
Appreciate that you apply fixes more regularly than normal in these difficult times. I hope we can get rid off all destructive and annoying problems soon. And I also hope that the bug that we cannot switch generals during attack is also in the priority list.
Plus the online markers :).

Generals + zoom: please do it next as it's very hard to play.

Really wish that BB would acknowledge that a large number of players are actually currently locked out of the game by hammer man... it can be bypassed with a VPN... so the issue really is just bad coding, giving all players equal access should be the priority.
Fine, but how about fixing the merchant, 'bout a week since I bougth 2 permanent building ques, and still only 3 buildings allowed still, reported, but no answer from BB on this
Funny, thats the changelog from test a week earlier- You would have thought conenctivity would have been added (or maybe it has but they didnt bother to ammend the changelog :PQuote:

Several fixes to the ingame mail system and the star menu.

CHANGES & IMPROVEMENTS
Mail: The mass collection feature is working again
Mail: Mails with attachement can't be deleted anymore and the attachement has to be collected
Mail: Improved the loading time of the mailbox
Star Menu: Fixed several graphic glitches in the star menu
Star Menu: Explorers are not greyed out despite being usable anymore
Star Menu: Fixed tooltips in the star menu
Zone Error: Accepting items in the bookbinder will no longer create zone errors
For testing purposes, any new content will be added to the in-game merchant.
There are a heap of us still can't log in from the maint to fix the unity server stuff, any news?
can log on without vpn, but have to wait then about 5-10 mins for all the island buildings etc to show up.
amounts in mines etc don't show when mouse hovers/click on them so no idea how full stuff is
still unable to properly buff own isle and friend's isle as buffs don't work all the time when click on buildings etc.
unable to play adventures as gens don't load properly and if they do seem to go walkabouts on adventure
So no real progress at the moment from BB, which is a shame as really enjoyed over the years playing the game.
Or maybe they did and are not confident in the `fix' so avoiding even more flack if it does not work ...cynical, moi? Nah just seen it all before LolQuote:

Still slow as walking in chewing gum. Island takes for ever to load an everthing is in slo mo. After 20 mins my island hasn't loaded so I can check if I did get my mail back...... Very disappointed! Explorers in star: not greyed out but frameless http://prntscr.com/1q9yhur

when collecting a book from bookbinder the icon to show a book is ready remains after the book has been collected
The game is getting more and more shittier with new updates. Now I can't even start the game, everytime it stucks with blank page.
Still absolutely horrendous.
Flooded island, hammer man, no explorers, no adventures, no provision house, no buildings, no barracks, no book binder. Wasted premium. Wasted pathfinder quests.
My island is DEAD after a full two weeks of being able to do nothing more than the collection quest and sometimes if I am lucky, the guild quest.
How can not making sure that people can log in and play be completely absent from any communications from Ubisoft? How was it not a priority in this fix? When will we be able to play again?
is only me on line or the chats don't work at all? Previus had problems only with guild chat, now i can't see anything in any chat, even the post i write
PS..
After 2 restarts now i can see global and help chat but still no guild
Trade Office transactions all have todays date and the same time even tho i have not had a trade for a few days, and the list is still upside down

Still cant log in, the hammerman just wont go away.... but its getting very close to the point where I will go and never come back, like a lot of other players.

a big fat NOPE !!!! still can not get into my island at all , still the fail to connect to client and 0 level non named avatar .
if you are deliberately trying too ill the game and stop people playing you are doing a damn fine bang up job of it :'( . i DONT want to lose my island or this game , i DO ENJOY playing it and chatting with others in the newfoundland community .
please please please get it back to how it was , as in loadable and playable.

Does the connectivity problem happen in unity or in both unity and client - so has nayone with the problem tried the old client re-enabling route and have it working then?
Trying to search in trade by a name and pressing enter does not work anymore.. only works if you click on the search button, pls fix.
Also, buildings window still stack on themselves, this should be fixed asap.
still got grey areas in star but not gens or explorers. Biggest problem now is not having buffs in star on adventures! It was fine before update !

Mass mail collect doesn't work.
Click drop down menu in mails, select Loot MailIt filters but does NOT select the Loot mails. Now have to manualy select each one.
Now can Mass choose Star or Warehouse
So part way there, but not really fixed the problem

Fail. This is NOT working. I can click the box to select all treasure mails but the check marks just disappear immediately.

Also a fail. Load times are no faster. The game is still incredibly laggy.

This seems to be working as advertised. However, "graphic glitches" are the least of the problems with the game at this point. Why focus on something so insignificant when the game is virtually unplayable? Maybe try to help all the players who still are unable to log in, deal with the lagginess, and fix adventures so that clicking on one general doesn't result in a totally different general heading off to attack?

I can't say if this has changed as I never got zone errors related to the bookbinder. But I still usually have to close the bookbinder after collecting a book, wait a bit, then go back to start the next book. Everything takes forever with the game like this.
Summary: This update fixed some graphic glitches. Meantime, the game remains unplayable and frustrating. Players who love the game are running out of patience and leaving the game, and who can blame them? The game is NOT FUN like this. And frankly, when BB brings updates like this that do nothing except fix some minor graphic glitches, it gets harder and harder to believe that the game will ever be running properly again.
