Going to fix the annoying issue that quest cant count correct? Get an amount of 250 and it says 249 unless you visit friend or addy and back for it to trigger.
Well, any decrease in zone refreshes will be gratefully received, they've been getting worse, not better lately.
But so disappointed we're still not seeing any work on basic interface functions that are driving players crazy and away from the game.
The quest log stilljumps around, resets quests or hides them until you're forced to reboot.
Explorers have huge lag between every necessary click and like quests, will often reset after sending.
So many resources still showing as "Unknown ID" and incorrect or missing icons.
The least you could do is reinstate the official client version until you get the game somewhere near a playable state.
Try playing it yourselves for a week or 2 and ask yourselves, would I really want to play this let alone sink money into it?
You've taken advantage of our loyalty for far too long now.
And for pity's sake, stop deleting/hiding bug reports just to make forum look "happier", sick of reporting the same bugs I reported as far back as the 2020 Test server, no wonder no progress is being made.

I would not play this game if there were no working client version and I admire those player who can (and are willing) to play on the browser. It is really pity. Normal gaming studios make a full game in 2 years (of course not a AAA+ one but still) and here I really do not see a big improvement only small patches ever half a year or so.

We decided to move our update to next week (23.03.2022).
The reason for this change is to collect more data from the deployment that we had today in our FR instance. The specific reason is the loading change, which can be seen on both the FR instance and our Test Server. The first loading AFTER the update is expected to be longer - this should result in smoother performance as the game won't need to stream/load in assets while playing as much as before the update.
If you want to try the update before it's live, you can still do it by playing on our Test Server here.
Tested it on the testserver.
Loading time was indeed somewhat longer but scrolling over the island went smoother.
Haven't seen any zone refresh, but on the other hand.... after every action the game 'paused' (stuttered) in the same manner as it did when the zone refreshes would appear.
So it looks text saying "ZR" was removed, now ZR happens w/out text. L o you know what. :)
how about fixing the issue for those who log in with facebook account. Still can not buy any gems!!!!
Only legacy login was removed, fb remains: Official BB info

Really looking forward to the chat being available for posting messages. One year in rejoining the game and still unable to chat. Yes, have tried all of BB's suggestions without any success. I am thankful I can read the chat, but frustrated at not being able to respond or send invitations for co-op adventures, etc.
Sigh, you still don't seem able to grasp the fact that these 3 servers are truly "international" with players from every time zone (even the French ones don't come close with only CET or Canadian "shifts"), by the time a maintenance is announced, for a lot of us that only leaves an hour or 2 to try and accommodate them into our schedule, and sometimes they've even started before we even see an announcement.
You must know when they are scheduled, so why we can't get the necessary 24 hours' notice is beyond me, especially as this week's was probably already scheduled before the postponement, so the timings should already be known.
It's almost as bad for those playing under CET or GMT as many are in the habit of maintaining their islands over a bowl of sugar puffs before going off to work/school, so without prior warning their explorers are coming back while we are offline, and buildings are wasting valuable resources running unbuffed for half the day.
These things are planned well in advance, so there's no reason why BB can't announce them in a timely fashion.
the issue is most likely that not all maintenance is announced days in advance, this time we have a weeks notice but the initial one had short notice for the 16th
When they start, we can all guess - i agree but the dates of the events can be announced a bit sooner
When is the Guild shop going to work again? I dutifully do most Guild quests & now have 24K Guild coins.
Be great if the fixes sorted the following as a starter:
Login from browser to game is too slow
Actual game login showing a whole island is too slow
Time for trades to arrive is too slow
Time for buffs to show is too slow
Time for a loot spot invite to appear is too long
Time for adventures to show on the quest book/screen is too long
Time taken for adventure map to appear when go there to make a kill is too long
Sort these rather than tinkering round the edges and you might be making progress.
P.S. Zone refresh will still happen as many/most players have more than one tab open and each time you leave the Unity tab it zone refreshes

How about fixing it so we can actually sometimes log in in under 10 minutes? Although things are getting fixed, what is actually being done is worrying - more and more people are crashing when they try and visit my island - I cant even login through Unity any more
Can we at least get the basics fixed..... please?

Does that mean this it now fixed rather improved? or only adventures but not on the home island?

So let me see if I understand the timeline.
You made a fix, you tested it, it worked as intended, you uploaded it to the french server, it didn't work as intended, it's now not going to be uploaded to the other servers until the code you tested and was working fine on the testing platform works on the live platform?

The test server environment is different from live servers, so this can sometimes happen even when everything is working as intended on the test server. We received a lot of feedback from French players and at the same time, the team was monitoring and analyzing the data. First, we decided to postpone the update for a week, but currently, we decided to remove this change and revisit it later.
LOL, I havent been here in a while, but reading all this, it seems there really was no reason to visit here, as nothing is changed, still running a game wich cant be played properly. Its no real suprise...
Afterall I was waiting for the new Settlers game wich was going to be introduced march 17, guess what....?
Yep its postponed, cause they got only negative feedback from the people playing the beta version.....
So they cant fix a running game and they cant produce a working new game...makes me wonder...is there anything bluebyte can do????
The main gripe is and always will be zone refresh and it is not being done ... Please tell us why we should have faith in your given word in future posts ?
