17 trys, now is 18 try , all FAIL :( .
Are people suggesting that if you buy spins with gems you are guaranteeing higher success rates?
And with the new generals, this is more of an issue to those unlucky enough to still not have it.
I myself am at around 30+ long letters without luck while someone in guild got it months ago on 2nd or so try and has been making manuscripts around the clock with barazeks. He can science up his gens as soon as they are released now while I may struggle to get 1 or 2 done :/
There will be a few months before this goes live at least, but this recipe will be crucial. Ive had 10 tries now without luck, that's 10 tries without spending a single gem! I shudder to think how many gems have been spent by the guys on 30+ tries.
Well I hear the record attempts of trying to get the manuscript recipe is 72 tries, from a poor soul from the German servers, Don't worry, he got it on his 73rd attempt, hehe.
Well even with recipe - if we dont get another way of getting books - like in loot or something,- then it really does not matter with the gen skill tree, woul take several years to get enough books anyway.
If BB dont come up with some other way to get books - they can put the gen skill tree where the sun never shines :p
I got the manu recipe - and no I am not swimming in books - I still only skilled a few of my geos explorers, and the skills I used some of them on are highly outdated for someone my level anyway. In fact there is not much to put them on that matches my level.
I really dont need more map fragments, more whirlwind adventures, more exo wood or any other wood. I dont need marble, stone or granite, really dont need more copper ore, have no use of more beans.
Only useful thing is faster on all searches and the artifact search. The bonus quest thing was nice for some month - but dont need any more quests to do dark priest or whirlwind.
Could do with a move books for free week, and a toltal makeover of the books skill trees for geos and scouts.
So dont fuss about that manu recipe - it is not that fantastic. It is expensive and take a lot of time to make manus in rph.
Im obviously not stressing with the anticipation that general trees will be in shortly, but it requires 5 manuscripts 10 tomes 6x codex
6 codex takes 18 tomes, 28 tomes take, 38 tomes take 140 manuscripts.
Being able to create those total 145 required manuscripts in RPH is a MAJOR boon
A manuscript in RPH takes 7h30, but you can reliably x4 that with a barazek, which gives you a manuscript in under 2 hours each. Compared to a a bookmaker where you can't queue books, and thus buffs are potentially completely wasted/unreliable, taking 10hrs for a manuscript.
So that RPH manuscript making is nearly a x5 production improvement on a incredibly large part of the required items needed to upgrade specialists.
