(facepalm) It’s maintenance boys and girls. You CAN'T log on to game then...
But frankly IMO TSO staff is taking quite a long time for such simple things as some updates and log clearing. Esspecially as updates should come already tested. (After all there is a testing server made for that purpose) And some things they can easilly do while servers are running.
Dumb, they should say that is is down due to maintenance!
Hmm usually they do. But if you go directly to .../play instead of .../home i think browser is loading game application from cache and usually halts at login queue screen. (not quite sure how exactly it works)Quote:

I don't even pass to the loading page, it just loads for a second and then this appears "Connection failed".

If the server is offline for maintenance why cannot we be correctly informed of that instead of getting a message which reads:
We regret that the connection to the "The Settlers Online" server failed. Please try to reconnect. Should the problem persist, please visit the homepage and the forum for more information.
We are working to resolve the problem.
