I Can't quote thisone now (would have to look for the right thread) but on dutch forum BB_Skelrill stated work in progress on the rock demo.
My guess is they have been selling mystery boxes to pay for extra servercapacity to be able to handle all the islands getting altered.
Would have been easier if they just let us buy about 30 floating res and made enough space so we could add them around the island, and I think it was about 13k gems needed to clear rocks not 20k, I just spent 90k gems on improved silo to gain space and will need to spend another 32k on upgrading all my farms to lvl 6, all the options to gain space have cost a lot more then rock removal
