I have the same issue, people cannot visit my island.
I have the same problem, i cannot visit other people to buff them. this seems to be intermittent as since friday 14th june 2013 i cannot visit friends but yesterday(sun 16th) i managed to visit friends islands, then today ii's back to not letting me. i have not changed any settings anywhere on my pc so the issue is definitely a problem with the game
I've had a reply from Support to say that the Developers need to sort this one out. Watch this space....
Did anyone try to reinstall adobe flash player? http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html
I've not tried that or using ccleaner, as it's only affecting me in a small way. As Support have said the Devs are looking into it, I'm happy to wait for them to find a fix as well.Quote:

Some things from .de that seem worth trying:
Empty your Barracks, and possibly Prov, if they're producing anything with level requirements above the level of the person trying to visit the endless "Loading Map..." may result:

All the players that I couldn't visit easily (took a while to get there) seemed to be offline players that I tried visiting in the morning after a whole night of not visiting them. At least it was only 'takes ages' rather than 'not at all', but I did have problems with them compared to online players whose maps loaded quickly. Obviously it's difficult to tell if other people had been visiting them in the meantime, but I may just have to not visit offline players for a while....
Barracks confirmed by one. I visited a level 50 friend with no difficulty then asked them to build a Cannoneer (which is above my level.) It's been... five minutes now that I've been trying to visit again and all I see is a steady "Loading Map..."
*Later* Refreshed. Trying again...

Nicely figured for 1 potential source of the problem... Does not explain why a lvl 50 and lvl 47 cannot make buffs work on a level 46 player, whilst another lvl50 player can make buffs work.Quote:

Hmm, interesting about the cannons and gunners but i'm only lvl 37 and i don't own any cannons or gunners, my garrisons are empty, nothing being made in barracks and prov house is doing nothing too but still people cannot visit me but i can visit their islands ok
It really doesn't explain everything. :/ But it seems to me it's a healthy reminder that we, as players, can go digging around (there are ever so many of us) and perhaps find something. *Makes things up* Does the friend being on an Adv matter? Or are they away on a buff run? Idk but anything is worth trying, just to see. If there are aspects that are purely Dev-land we'll not find them but every little bit, I reckon.Quote:

I have the same problem. I had to visit a specific member. But I've been stuck in Idle for the past 2 hours. it's getting really annoying. It would seem, that the person in question does NOT have the same problem as I do. I'd hypothesize that it has something to do with the update from Thursday last week, in which science system was launched.
I've only had this problem with 1 person in TSO, Oddly enough, I've tried empty cache, reboot. switch from firefox to chrome, nothing worked. would you guys do me a favor and get this bugg fixed, because it really sucks if I cannot swap baskets with some particular person in my guild.

My daughter still has this problem. She is level 20, cannot visit anyone's island. I've tried different browsers, empty cache, CCleaner. Please everyone log a ticket. It only takes a couple of minutes, but I wonder if BB look at the forum much.
Its back again for me, after working for a while. Not sure whats changed but people can't visit my isle.
I have notified support again, but I'm yet to receive a reply for two days ago.
Please fix this Blue Byte.
Edit I actually think the problem does have something to do with units queuing for build. At the moment and yesterday I was building cavalry and elite soldiers. Today again when it stopped working the same.
So there you go BB, you have close too (if not) the very reason this exist, how long until fix please?
Edit* Could people try with elite soldiers? That is what seems to cause it for me.
Btw guys when using ccleaner, be sure to tick adobe flash cache in advance otherwise it will have no affect. Also with chrome I think you need to clean it separately.
Me(lev32) and my gf(lev40) cant visit a friend lev 41. He making elites right now, can be that a prb? Another friend(lev46) from my guild can visit him instead.
Having another go with no production in Barracks or Provision House: I still have to wait some time to visit offline players but can visit online players quickly. No discernible difference between visiting higher or lower level players. The only production I had going was the Bookbinders, which can't be cancelled.
Tried again with Soldiers being produced in the Barracks: no discernible difference between problems with or without Soldier production.
I can't test with Elite Soldiers or Cannoneers as I'm not at a high enough level.
Is a workaround down to making sure you aren't producing anything in the Barracks when you ask to be buffed? That might be a temporary solution if it occurs with troop production.
Or asking a higher level player to buff you instead of a lower level player?

I had the same problem. In the queue was one ES. After removing the issue has passed away.

What do you mean, plonka? My daughter has tried every day to visit other islands, and the game hangs every time. She has no problem logging in, and playing on her own island. We have cleared cache etc.
similar problems, unable to visit friends island, just get the loading map.
Tried last night with a player level 50,I asked them to make ES,I couldnt join,until the ES were completed,I myself cannot make those troops,it seems to only be an issue when players are making troops you yourself cant,I joined others who were lvl 48-50 who were making troops I also could make and no issues at all
Sadly my buffing buddy cannot visit me, yet I have no problem visiting him. Hope this gets fixed real soon. :(
The issue is repeatable by queuing Elite Soldiers it seems. Maybe only when the visitor isn't high enough level to build ES themselves.

We've played around a little more and it would appear any soldiers in the barracks queue that any visiting player is unable to produce on their own map. Is this some sort of preliminary code for matching PvP? :-)

I had to empty the barracks of elites so friend could visit me... weird.
I put the elites back in while he was on my island and everything was fine, he was able to buff and get home no worries. So, I can only bake elites when he is asleep, lol
I have the samen problem, until yesterday I could visit my buff partner (Mistermbenzi)but now I can't anymore. I can visit others and others can visit him but I can't.
I'm not training in the barracks and have nothing in my provision house.
+1 from me, leinad4999 cannot visit me, I can visit him. Tried online, offline, different browsers, different computers... same result.
Not impressed. With an island designed to run buffed 24x7 this is causing me massive problems.

Our guild is experiencing this problem now, we have not had this happen in our guild until recently. It does not seem to matter who it is or when it is (on or offline), we get the loading map page where you can type in the box, also you have to refresh to get off of that page in order to play. Does anyone know if this is something they are working on as it seems that this has been happening for some time now.
it also applies to me sometimes with certain users - not only users offline, both online&offline.
Are u guys not reading the posts? If one of u are building troops in the barracks that your buff partner cant, then u will get this bug! (online or offline) Simple way round it, make sure none of u are building high level troops at the time :) Until this is fixed its all u can do!
