Not sure if you are having problems with 1 quest or 2 since your 2 posts were originally in 2 different threads.
Hopefully this will work for for both quests:
Send all of the asked resources to a trusted friend for a fish and then reverse the trade
(Worked for many players that had this problem, asked in chat and received this info as answer.
But you have to send all resources, not just the amount the quest requires)
