And same for last camp on Save the Christmas Feast, otherwise you will lose elites.

lots of new stuff, hope people like it
Good guide - thanks
As you pointed out, the map randomly generates when opening the adv, so you might get a different map for the first buff adventure ( can be the second , or even another .. in the guide )
I can only tell you to be carefull and check which maps it loads and DO NOT make buffs in advance if you haven't started the adventure yet.
Usefull stuff, especially the number and kinds of buffs needed for buff adventures. Thanks you
Does anyone have details on the recipes? Only a couple of them actually list the input/output in the description
on stolen sleigh you dont need to attack camp 8 (50 firedancers, 40 shadowsneakers) gen doesnt go thought its intercept zone
Anyone else stuck in X-mas quest chain due to having completed "Getting into to Christmas spirit"adv to soon?
One thing I have not seen asked anywhere is does Christmas Feast and Stolen Sleigh when played under premium time give more rewards and to that matter Getting into the Christmas Spirit too?
I did it when I was told to and now it still tells me to finish it. Not sure what to do. Any ideas?
Is there a delay before The Evildoer Quest-chain starts?
For those who had trouble with the " getting into the Christmas spirit " adventure ( quest )
This quest will finish once you completed the second adventure you get from the callender.
Also, the buff-cost for these adventures has been updated.
Is there a guide detailing how many 'buffs' are needed for each 'buff adventure'? I don't want to be left with useless buffs after the event. We had something like that for the World Cup event which was really helpful.
- What happens to the Christmas Adventure buffs in my Star Menu?
The buffs can still be used to play the Adventures.
For a refund of the production resources, the buff has to be applied to the Mayor's house.
i got a quest in the evildoer chain 'complete 1 experience adventure' i completed stealing from the rich, the dark priests and did a The black knights as someone said i need to do an epic adventure, yet the quest doesnt complete so now i am stuck in limbo!
Thanks for your reply i managed to get help to sort this out
Can you let me know does one quest follow the other straight away as i completed the 'Christmas postcard: Buff at least 5 of your friends buildings using Aunt Irma's Gift Baskets' and i have not seen another quest appear and that was 6 hours ago!
Fhearghus has kindly provided a list of the adventures which fulfil that quest in this post: http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/t...l=1#post270206
Since this hasn't been stated clearly anywhere in this thread:
On 25 November BB said they had "adjusted" some of the adventures. Although it was never mentioned how, what has happened is that Dark Priests is now a mini adventure and Stealing from the Rich is a resource adventure. I don't know what else has changed but these two are NOT experience adventures any more.
Players are now expected to realise that the icon in the bottom right corner of the star menu adventure graphics now tells you what type the adventures are. A "star" means experience.
Players are also expected to realise that the text description of the adventures has NOT been changed and is now wrong for at least DP and SFTR.
In summary: look at the icon, don't read the text.
My Christmas quest chain has stopped for a few days. I think I had only done the first one. I'd not gotten the one with the Epic adventure (lvl 50 here) for sure. No Christmas daily quest as well. Have posted to support, however, not sure if anyone would still be working today :( I'd done all three buff adventures that's been given.
Gerontius, is there a list of what all the icons and colours for the adventures means?
Now I finally gets 3rd quest, out. Maybe support did something. Do they reply at all?
So, is it worth spending all my pressies on PVP recipes? Or would I be better off getting grout, what are you doing?
After buying the buildings I needed/wanted, I've only bothered with the recipes for Irma's feast; stop buff; and small glue. The PvP recipes would have been the last choice as a) I loathe PvP and b) from what I understand reading (e.g. other people's comments) those PvP buildings will never require buffs unless the owner is a "must have that immediately" mentality (and imho that mentality rarely makes a long-term TSO player).
Despite not having an army of explorers I've accumulated a couple of thousand additional presents so the choice is a) give them away b) save them till next year hoping something better may come along c) spend them on grout: of those choices grout appears to be the least of the evils - and after a couple more years playing under the new loot tables one may get enough granite to upgrade to level 6 :)
My initial thought is to save them, as I am on level 44, I am ignoring the PvP and concentrating on levelling up, need a MMA somehow.
Ah, in that case there is another choice that I forgot to mention: d) sell them
Then keep the coin until the Easter event which will allow you to buy eggs and with them your MMA (assuming they keep the MMA in the Easter event shop).
Of course also at Easter it is very important to save for the Lucky Explorer(s) (if available) ... but this is getting a bit too far off-topic for a thread entitled "[Guide] Christmas event 2014" - I hope Fhearghus will forgive me :)
Hello
I did not found the answer for question if the Aunt Irma's Gift Baskets will be available after end of this event.
I did found that most probably it will be not available to produce in the Adv. Provision house anymore.
But what will happen to the produced buffs in the star menu ?
If I create 25x25 Aunt Irma's Gift Baskets will they stay in the menu after this event or will they disappear ?
thank you for your answer/s
Any number of Aunt Irma's Gift Baskets can be made in the (normal) Provision House and they appear in your star menu from whence you can use them at any time (forever)
If you buy the recipes for the new Aunt Irma's Feast and "use" it on your Rarity Provision House from that time you can make as many of those as you want of those at any time in the future - the recipe will never disappear unless BB go back on their promises! Likewise any Feasts you make will appear in your star menu until you want to use them.
Hoping that this makes things clearer for you
VV
