If this was a planned "improvement", then why was it not included in the "Changes and Improvements" section of the Change Log?
Having said that, however, this must be some strange definition of the word "improvement", that I was not previously aware of, when it actually makes it better for me to transport troops using four veterans than it is to use one quartermaster, because it is easier and quicker to load four veterans that land automatically on my island than it is to 'unpack' a QM from my star menu, wait for it to build and then load it before sending it off to an adventure.
Add my voice to the chorus for this 'under the radar' change to be rolled back.
so basically they have broken the quartermaster and are to dumb to fix it ..so decide to call it an improvement...lol

is this really an improvement that i have to manual land and wait until his built to load him with adv troops??...where and how is this any kind of improvement?? do you even know the meaning of the word...??
as for auto unloading in adv...he did this anyway when there was;nt any landing space...lol...
all this is is another attempt to slow down the number of adventure we do...just more annoyance added to the game....the more annoyed people are the less the adv...but watch out to annoyed and they just leave...and find a more player friendly one...
It's not an improvement - it's a removal of functionality of quartermaster. Keeping one configured with troops and nicely getting them back from adventure and sending for next one is no longer possible.
Please revert this "improvement". Adding annoyance to game is not an improvement in any way.
Improvement?.... so bb improved the game by making it so we can't use a purchased feature unless we spend more and we weren't even warned. sounds more like an excuse for an error in judgement or a bad case of greed thanks a bunch

Hmmm, ok he can sit on star except for FT advs and I'll use 4 vets to send troops to my rb's.
Can we arrange a similar 'improvement' for players marshals so they don't clutter up islands of those who tried pvp and dropped it rapidly?
i have been told that pvp 3x3 troop movers still land in s1. if that is true this is not fair at all!
can this so called *not bug* also be applied to all other generals and not have them unload troops ?

It is annoying that you dont realise your QM has arrived and then having to re-load troops once you have placed is time wasted.
I can confirm that my Swift Supplier and Expedition Supplier still land as they did previously in S1. I wish the QMG did too. It's a pain for when you want to do the same adventure again, and just resend with a top up of recruits/militia/bowmen.
I assume Expedition transports will get "fixed" too since you can see that they go over trees like QM went before patch. I don't know if they made the change due cosmetic reasons or is there some other technical problem/issue linked to the overlapping...
The QM is not working as he should there is no way it makes sense. Please correct the error. I do not believe for one minute it was intended we would have been informed many moons ago he was 'bugged'. It was also not mentioned in the change log.

please roll back this so called improved feature to how it was before, as others have said its not an improvement if you dont have space to build it on full island
I do not know if my problem is related to the QM not landing, but on Nords the whole army that was loaded on the QM is gone. I had to rebuilt it and resend to the adv. This time it worked, but i lost 703 units. Of course the QM did not land neither times.
yep, me too. qmg didn't land on nords, even though there was plenty of room. just dropped the troops and went to star.
it would seem if the pvp transporters land on island and adventure transporter dont then this either 1) a bug 2) bb playing fravourite to the pvp'er who are already upset cause they already have to many bugs!!...this is unfair and just goes to prove what bb stated last year before the changes were made...they want to slow down the rate at which player do adventures...so they lvl slower and game lasts longer....this company is a bunch of money grabbing noobs
Why not make this optional? I'm sure this is not too complex to code - just needs someone to actually do it.
Come on BB - please reply and let us know when you will be rolling the QM back - none of us are buying that it was intentional (makes no sense at all, no notice given etc) Please fix this mistake - and if it really was meant to be it still needs rolling back - we should have use of the QM's we paid for - this version is unwelcome to most.
A successful cover-up is one which is believable. Take my advise and don't expand into the bridge selling business.
Also if planned why the stupid space message? Pop up should say 'your general made it safely home & parked his behind in star' space obviously not affecting the issue.. poor show, put it back asap.. :(
this qm gen issue is no mistake its simply bb screwing us over yet again,as always if something doesnt benefit bb and is glitched/bugged it doesnt get fixed for weeks if at all.

yes i have this problem too.. i have 2 quatermaster and 2 swift suppliers and got no space for them to land... when they come back from adventures they don't land... can you make them land on whater or something... or allow us to put troops in them even if they didn't land... i spent 1 min trying to land them is annoyinggg!

I too have this problem going on, but in adventures and on the homeland. I don't mind it on adventures but it is a bit annoying on the homeland, even when all the landing spots are open.
my qm's used to land on a spot below the copper mines, where u can't build so it was really useful and out of the way. When I have built the new barracks I won't even have anywhere to park my qm's. so can I have my money back for em plz bb, coz I won't even be bothered to use em at this point!
I lost all my troops that were on QM on the way to the RB. QM arrived but no troops were with him and on my island i dont have troops anymore.
So,the unload all troops-buttom can be removed again.And please remove the error-message,that there“s no landing spot for quartermaster...
Can't see why this is an improvement as it's a pain to have to manually land everytime to collect troops. Sounds more like a bug that has been changed to an improvement to save fixing it.
Today's change is even worse now. QM now lands but so do ALL the other generals to first available spot anywhere on the island. After few adventures this feels really bad since you have to do Where's Waldo or hover each general to find which one had the troops to empty em... :(

If I did not have to manually land the QM to refill it afterwards!
Problem is: we lose additional time for landing the QM on the home island.
What we asked for is a feature that we don't have to waste island space for our generals on the Home island - not for having to do an additional click to manually land the QM!
