Still got 8-10, and none on the islands, so I'd say not fixed.
something has change got no collies on new islands yesterday or today...but numbers seem to be up will continue to monitor it.....

It seems to me that on Sandycove things are better....the wife and I were seeing a max 14 but now getting the occasional max 19 which is more in line with the way it originally was, more-or-less.
Additional Info: We both have gained the "free" island to the SW, and one of the archipelago but that's all so that might be why we are still getting slightly higher numbers.

Thats all I can think of at the moment, but wonder if any of this could have an effect?

First spawn for today - 20 collies - none on the archipelago so far (found 17 of 20). A month ago (or less) i had collies on the archipelago for sure.

I have had over 12 after update, did not write them all down - but 15, 16 18 13 and one day even 25. One of my guild members still get 12, 9 .. no change after update.
Still the same 8-10 cools per spawn for me.

its all very well BB_ravel and support saying they're working on it, but event starts at midnight, okay (00:01) monday which is before the next available maintenance on EU servers, so this need to be fixed with short downtime before midnight monday if possible, it seems some got the fix but many didnt, i havent on newfoundland, but did get the fix on zeus (US server), getting 20+ there on each spawn, compared to 6-12 here on newfoundland, both with new islands sectors explored

Interesting, I cleared archipelago yesterday of bandits ( still not claimed most of it ) bought the last island, Today not a single collectible on archipelago. Still got 22 on main island. I had noticed since the `maintenance fix' that they were getting fewer on archipelago, but still always had some. The mystery continues...

have got 0 on archi since the fix.
the 1 spawn on the archi that belongs in s1 is as far as the game mechanics go not part of the archi..
i see it as a good thing. less space to search for same amount of items.

Ok second spawn had 19, again not a single one on Archipelago, so there has to be a connection to clearing all bandits from archipelago or buying all three islands as that is the only thing that has changed for me in the last 24 hrs. Since xxl was implemented I've always had collies on archipelago. Maybe they have to have something to hide behind or improved store to hide in ! I left out the rocks to hide in as there is clearly a bugged rock graphic where the second iron mine is :p
got 5 colls now so I guess they're working on it, getting less and less to none, quite pissed atm tbvh.
not had a spawn higher than 11 since before halloween. 30 of each collectible for the xmas quest chain? that'll take half the event at this rate.

Just a reminder to devs: Christmas event 2015 relies heavily on collectibles + Event is 1 week shorter than previous events + prizes are more expensive in terms of presents required + a collectible issue unresolved = A lot of disgruntled players ( especially those who have worked hard ( and purchased through gems) to gain extra island space from xxl, who have every right to feel somewhat cheated when nothing spawns there )

Do we know exactly which archipelago sector's claiming reduces the collectible count? I am about to claim ns4. But I think I'll be better of doing that after the event. :S
I have been keeping a note of my collectible spawns since the last update:
9,9,7,8,10,12,12,11,9,8,11,12,9,10,9,7,7,9
I did not find even one these collectibles on the archipelago. All the ones I have found have been on the main island and, if memory serves me correctly, I have failed to find only 3 of them. So, from my perspective, the 'fix' has actually made things worse as, before this update was brought into effect, I was regularly getting spawns in the 'teens, with the occasional spawn of twenty plus, and every spawn included at least a few appearing on the archipelago.
If there is another event achievement involving finding a significant amount of collectibles and this problem persists following next week's maintenance, then you'll likely have to count me amongst the "disgruntled players" Larili predicted earlier in the thread... the pumpkin collecting achievements were bad enough with the higher level of spawns I was enjoying prior to December 8th.
I can see that I no longer have collies on my island - except at a single spot close tho the main land. But my collies are now between 9 and 25. No longer between 5 and 12 as it had been since I cleared the islands.
