Find non-productive/exhausted buildings and quarries in a list
Right now, finding all storehouses, or all nobles, or whatever non-productive building you like is a matter of going over the whole island. And half the time you might miss eg. a storehouse, because it looks so much like other buildings. This makes upgrading a bit of a pain. The same applies to wells, unless you gather them all together (as I've resorted to). Often they get hidden behind trees and stuff, so you don't find them without being quite forensic.
For productive buildings, you can jump to each one from the economy overview. This is very helpful. It would be great if you could produce another list (or maybe a tab in the economic overview) that lists quarries (working or not) and unproductive/exhausted buildings, to make them easier to find.
Economy Overview - add Storehouses and Population buildings
Has been suggested many times before, but I thought Id revive it.
As the title says, please add Storehouses, Schools and Residential buildings in their various formats to the Economy Overview. It would be of great help in locating those buildings that require upgrading etc and also to see how many of each type are owned.
Trying to locate a noble that uses a license to be replaced with a deed from merchant is currently a click-fest all over the island. If the Economy overview was to differentiate between them using the yellow star, it would help immensely. Same for the Improved Stores over the standard ones.
List of all your buildings including status and level.
This could show when you hover over the building licence icon in the top bar (although it would be useful to be able to click on a building in the list to go to it). I'm sure could do a similar thing in the old Settlers games and I miss it.
How to count precisely the buildings in every home island sector
Hi all. I have not looked long enough in similar posts, to see if someone already wrote about what I will write now. In case of duplicating idea of someone, please accept my apologizes.
Idea: To have a future game command, that allows a player to choose a sector, and all remaining home island sectors to get fogified, making it easy to identify boundaries, and counting all buildings within the limit of sector. (in case of fully explored home island)
Reason: When you estimate (as a player, doing manual assessment of whats constructed) your buildings, to have clear/understood border limits of the chosen sector.
Because, when constructing multiple buildings close to each other, the integrity of graphics, can hide the border lines between sectors.
If that idea is "complicated" and "rejected", then any system, or a way to mark each building when counting, for example, 300x water wells, or 60x wheat fields, when proposed, would be welcome.
An idea could be: 1. to be focused on the idea 2. to place buffs... every buffed building will be highlighted and to be counted. Its a way, but if got distracted, can easily loose the count.
Anyone can say: Look your Economy overview... but if count is 200x wells.. how to "fetch" the quantity. Need some method to diferentiate and give exact quantity.
Open to read/hear any of your ideas on "counting a home island of 400+ buildings. how to do it, without a mistake".
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards
number of buildings built on your island
i think it would be nice to see something similar to the original settlers game on pc/amiga regarding the amount of each building type you have on your island
would look something like this here

and for those who never saw the original from the 1990's
