Happens right now 16/02/11 09:17 when trying to visit friends island.
cannot login, the same msg, honestly id like to ask what are you really doing about game performance and bugs? because its getting worse. every week, i have some issue or bug experience, i dont see any improvement, is it still beta version?
I can not log in yet this morning Saturday 13th February 09:10 to 09:20 U.K. time. Tried several times on 2 different browsers, Chrome and Firefox.
I keep getting the server will be shutting down for maintenance purposes message. I closed browsers and cleared cache before every attempt, I will try again shortly.
Now got in 09:40 U.K time.

Been happeing for me today as well, but did get in after trying a few times.
Happening to me as well now. Chrome. 11:44am 14/2/16 Northisle. Closed browser, refreshed cache, still the same.
Happened to me just now while trying to get back onto my sons of little tailor adv...running chrome, 19.00 UK time, Newfoundland. Refreshed and managed to get in on the 2nd attempt

Sundaymorning 21 february 08.30 System says Server is going down for maintenance purpose. No information on mainpage.
Update: did remove temporarily internet files and started again. Problem solved.

At 0850 (About) i tried to log on and had the incorrect message "server about to shut down for maintenance" - luckily it only took 3 tries for me to be able to log on. Understand this has happened before to some people and that we were to notify BB via forum.
22/02/2016, 11.10, Newfoundland server, running Chrome, server shutdown for maintenance when trying to visit someones island, been kicked off server 4 times, cleared cache, temporary internet files, history, etc but still no change

30 min logout cured.
Guys, this is still being investigated, but our Dev Team just informed us they don't need extra reports about the exact time it is occurring any more.

My Story (Using Chrome)
Was getting Shutdown message when visiting a specific friends Island - having previously visited 20 mins earlier.
Did the clear cache/internet files thing with no success.
Logged on using IE and was successful which seemed to clear the problem when using Chrome.

This is just getting worse and worser,i get that Message evry day multiple times when try to log inn..and it sends me back to front page,i dont now if its only me or this happens With more People,i have tryed to delete catche didnt work,i have tryed With other like crome,mozzilla,explorer get the same Message,i noticed i started to get this after the maintaince,where it should be the last we had,its very annoying trying to log inn evry day for more then 10 min,my only Guess is that bluebyte loses players because of this.....i am addicted so i stay on it lol...but my question is we gonna se a fix on this and when?

This morning, Sunday 28/02/16 at 09:08 U.K. time I received the Maintenance message and could not log in, I tried a couple of times with no luck, so I left it for 20 minutes and successfully logged in about 09:30. Thank you.
I got this message first time today. I was on an adventure map (Nords) and tried to change to an ls adventure (BLT) and then I got this message that Server is going to shutdown for maintenance and got thrown to frontpage. Had to re-load the game. After that game has been working.
Although there is no maintenance announced I cannot log in - getting message again that the server is about to close for such activity - anyone reading this please advise Pilgrim of FRE guild for me - thanks.

cant login today either, keep being redirected to homepage, while loading game, it appears : serer is going down for maintenane and then bak to homepage,
and again and again.........testing server say its working, but login page not
managed to log in, which I am pleased about. Not so pleased about getting the message below whilst attempting to visit adv/friends island:(

I still cant get in Blue. Same message for me across 3 different browsers, 4 if you include the thin client one. I have cleared cache etc in all and rebooted etc.
Oh well, one more attempt them I'm going to see what the outside world looks like.

I cannot get into the game. getting the message the server is going down for maintenance. this is the second time this week this has happened. I did all the usual stuff and still cannot get into the game :(
Can't get inte to the game either. A bit annoying as it's the third time in less than a week.
Edit. I got in now.

This may not help at all, but there have been times things have been odd and completely closing all browser windows and restarting the browser seems to fix more things then just refreshing.
You've probably tried that but I thought I'd mention it.

I had the same earlier, rebooted computer and could get on again, otherwise just keep trying.
