I find PvP very exciting and seeing your name appear is nice
I usually check daily - so I use option B
We should encourage more ppl to use PvP and to see the ranking system expanded to include Ali / FT adv
only thing that would make me use PVP would be if I didnt have to have a 3rd army and the weapons were cheaper - other than that no tyvm
I don't play pvp, never will as i find it boring/costly/pointless/waste of settlers that my other army's need, so for me the big rankings button (that i still accidentally click on most days) is nothing but a pain. I never intentionally click it, and whilst i understand that some players enjoy pvp i still don't see the point of the rankings button where it is. Id prefer to have everything pvp tucked neatly out of sight (perhaps a drop down menu from a small tab well out of the way)
pvp is still full of bugs. as you may see in this post - most of us don't want this rankings button, so please BB place it elsewhere

The button should be gone, the very fact that it does nothing for you in game other than opening the front page means its completely pointless.

I suppose it would be quicker still to bookmark them though :-D
I've never looked at the actual rankings because I have no interest in them whatsoever.
a big fat F from me... this survey seems a gr8 idea, maybe bb could use the info as well :)
the icon seems an unnecessary waste of screenspace to me. perhaps the (what I suspect is a tiny) minority of ppl who actually use it could find it in the menu. I know this increases the amount of mouse clicks but i'm sure the majority of players would be much happier, including many who enjoy pvp.

Chrome is a pain these days for this game with freezes among the most irritating issues, but hitting the ranking tab numerous times a day that opens a new tab now also results in the game freezing, and the only way to stop it if you're lucky is to zoom in and out.
Whilst this in itself is easy, having to do it multiple times a day is a chore which can be prevented if BB just simply move the button elsewhere. Whoever came up with the idea of placing the most useless button in the game between the 2 most used buttons (merchant & star) needs taking to task :p
And I don't wish to upset the PvP players, but how often a day do you need to check your rankings, in all honesty?
Please BB, re-visit this request and at least give it some fresh thought
Talked to someone on test to at least not make it active during adventure - really really strange that this is one of the only buttons active at adventure. Why we need to see pvp rankings there is really a good question. Have messed up quite a few blocks when I want to move my view when sending and accidentally click rankings - then a new window opens. To have it greyed out during adventures does not solve the freezing - would love to see it gone completely- there must be other ways to access rankings - like from the menu in the left- I am sure people who actually wants to see the rankings can find it there.Quote:

Pvp level 30 here for some time and quite enjoyed the pvp element to the game, but still have no interest in the button at all and only click it by accident sometimes. As someone previously mentioned, it would be good if it opened up some other stats for the game like adventures done, current island value, hours played per week etc..

I assume the button was added in order to try to encourage players to try pvp for the challenge of being on the ''leader board''. Since that would appear to have failed maybe it's time for BB to consider removing it?

I have only looked at it once and that was a stray click! But assumed it was of some value to PVP players

Ironically, I just used it to open the home page, which led to the forums, which lead to this thread. Aside from a homepage shortcut once 1-2 months, I don't tend to use the button. I'm level 61 and still have the beginners questchain in my logbook, so I'm pretty sure that f + g are my responses. Anyone have a knee bandage perchance?
Also never use it, only by accident.
I keep hoping that battle logs be removed from our mail and transferred under Rankings button (and rename it).
Could add more details about active adventure(s) there too, including lost/recovered units etc.
i never use it i normally hit it by accident and it annooys me
