Your feedback is the confusion in this thread. Almost every post in the five pages of this thread so far is either questions for the AMA or it's mods telling people not to ask questions in here. When you see this level of dysfunction, it means that you communicated poorly.
The questions thread is over 35 pages by now and it's essentially impossible to check that a particular question hasn't been asked. A bunch of questions are just basic ones that asking in G1 could solve and don't need the Devs to respond to or are support issues that aren't going to get solved on the forum. Making the event on the forum is a terrible idea. A better way would be to have a webform for people to submit their question. This would enforce the one question per account rule and stop the question thread from getting clogged up. The Question thread is then a locked thread that gets updated by the mods periodically with the questions that have been selected so far to be answered. Suddenly you event is not only easier to run but also easier for people to engage with. BB has always been bad at UI/UX and this is a perfect demonstration of their blindspot right here.

Great idea having a q&a event but only if it is questions about the game and how it moves forward. Agree with IainC, most of the questions are easily answered in any chat channel or forum. I have no interest in what a dev played in the 90's or what his view on life is, so cant see why BB wants "any question" and not specifically questions and ideas about the actual game!
I don't envy your staff who have to sift thru all those pages of junk to find a few sensible questions, your setting yourself up for ridiculous questions like ppl asking for event items when they never were around for the actual event, lol .
Which gives me an idea, I'll go into work and ask my boss to equal my pay to a guy who was there 3 years b4 me. We get a yearly pay rise and he has had 3 years of pay rise more than me. Its not fair I say! haha

I was wondering if ever would go away from the insecure, slow and unstable flash player?
now that there are several other stable and faster options
even adobe wants stop it because it is insecure, slow and unstable.

I would prefer that we got answers of game related issues on forum also when there is no event.
That said I think it is much better now than a year or so ago. Most issues have been answered, but there is still lots of stuff that keep poping up over and over, and we never seem to get an answer. It might very well be that BB got the message and this is stuff they do plan to correct or implement. but if we cant read somewhere what the plans are or get an answer when we ask, how can we know?
I have read through most of the questions, and there are many of the questions I was thinking of- when I say we need feedback. That alone should suggest that I am right. But as said by others, doing it this way means BB gets a huge lot of crap to sort through also, because you told people to ask about anything.
Looking through the recent posts it's clear there is still confusion about which "Ask Me Anything" thread is which. C'mon now local team. ;)

In the same way it's nice when BB recognise the player base as people and not just ravening hordes it can be fun to get to know a little about the BB_People behind the scenes, as people and not just flashy colours flitting through chat or invisible mysteries lurking in an ivory tower. are the below features possible and considered in the future?
- sending geo's & explorers in bulk. just like sending generals, select what action you wish, and then sending them in bulk by checking which unit you wish to send out.
- delete all in PH, RPH, Barracks (someone already mentioned this i believe)
- in order to handy reorganise the island, instead of moving all buildings 1 by 1, sometimes multiple time, it would be a lot easier if you can remove buildings into your STAR menu (keeping their original level) and then redeploy them from there. this would allow to clean up everything movable, because some aren't (store houses ect) and start from scratch to perfection the productivity.
- sending goods in bulk: today you have to Send 1 type of goods at a time. can you allow MORE please? open a trade window, select the items and their quantity and then select your receiver. all you need is to redesign the left side of the panel, instead of 1 big icon, just use smaller one, line items for instance. so you can have up to 3 or 5 line items per trade.
- would you ever consider allowing more than 10 gem pits?
- EXP based quests instead of adventures & other missions.
- 2nd book binder :'(. 1 takes infinitely to properly upgrade your geos and explorers. with the new general upgrade feature, this is going to frustrate ppl a little more.
but also, not just 1 by 1, bulk requests for multiple books for instance so you dont have to look after the 12h timer all the time.
- endless iron/gold/tit/ gran/ marble/stone/ ..... mines :D 3 of them please just like copper

Sometimes, I mis-click on the upgrade button, or upgrade the wrong building, or after starting the upgrade, I get a new guild quest that I need to use that building.
The lost time doesn't matter, as long as I can get back the resources, and can use the building again immediately.
So after 2 months, only 11 questions answered! it seems we need like 2 or 3 years to get full answers?!
11 question, Q9 was not really an answer, Q2 and Q11 already 1 answer.
