Cant login either-gamescreen keeps trying to load island
After your update today I cant log in anymore, no picture no nothing, Whay? I try log in and waiting, waiting, waiting 20 min. and nothing. I try 5 times.
I've abandoned this for the day, hope my premium is extended
Just a small thought.... Easy way for BB to avoid pay daily.. keep players get frustrated and end game as they have milked it enough for cash now and start to run out of fantasy to keep grabing cash.. ridicoulus
you really think it is ok that it takes 20min+ to even get in? how can you blame that on many trying to log in at the same time even now so many hours after the failed update? You are wasting my short premium by this crap

Same here, no way does this have anything to do with influx.
It is hard to avoid using derogatory terms to describe my opinion on BB's communication towards players,and level of knowledge of the system. I want this to work as much as anyone else but this is the 2nd failed "event" in a row, and now i read bb plans to do it again?! " if it works, dont fix it", ever heard the expression? Take it to heart. Anyone know a Ubisoft exec? Tell him/her about how bb is being run nowadays, maybe he can kick some behinds and sort them out.

It took a bit to log in, and I got booted just after 2-3 min after I entered.
lost connection and back to the loading screen that doesnt want to load. hardly anything was working when i did manage to login. so the failed update and the roll back has caused probs not the amount of ppl trying to login. the long loading times started with the last update but its got even worse with todays failed attempt.
I got booted earlier and now can't log on :(

was able to get on once, but the game was so laggy it wasn't even possible to post trades to the trade office. Now can't get past the greyed-out checkbox again.
adventures aren't playable... too laggy...

So we are still struggling to log in and yet no recognition of the problem from the community staff that are paid to engage with the players - no wonder the majority of the playing community don't engage with the community staff.
Like others I am stuck on the loading screen.
The home page tells us the Game Update completed - yes I know if you expand the information there is some information to advise the planned update today was extended to 14:00 and then not deployed and postponed to tomorrow (due to technical issues) but this information is collapsed by default so its not clear - note to BB, the other historic messages arent collapsed so why is this information not displayed by default.
The latest update which links to the forum tells us the update has been postponed to tomorrow.
There is no recognition that the 'technical issues' that prevented the update taking place arent related to the inability to log into the game and yet people cant log into the game.
BB posted a forum reply at 13:59 today suggesting the log in issues / lag are to do with the massive influx of players and thats ok as it should calm down soon and they are keeping an eye on things - shame their fingers arent also sending us updates on when we can expect normal service to be resumed.
Based upon what I am reading and seeing - I can only assume that BB experienced a problem this morning that meant they had to extend the maintenance window and then give up on the new update. I also assume they either didnt manage to deploy any new code or decided to regress the code to where it was prior to their failed maintenance attempt. We are now experiencing significant problems that should have settled down by now but havent and yet no update from BB as to what the underlying problems are.
The cynic in me thinks BB put on a gem sale over the weekend to cream the last of the cash from the players and will now claim a catastrophic failure means the player data isnt recoverable so they intend to close the servers for good as is their right under their T&Cs.........

cannot log in, and also forum is not working either ...... HELLO THE SETTLER PEOPLE WAKEY WAKEY .... FIX FIX FIX .......... or at least report a technical error to your players ( LEARN ABOUT CUSTOMER CARE - IT DOES HELP )

Same here, it just won't load, got in twice but now not working, lets hope they do it properly tomorrow and give us 2 days prem as that's what I've lost
After finally getting into the same (Like everyone else took a very long time) I am now stuck trying to return to an adventure. The performance is like being back in the 1990's on dialup!

Good morning all the settlers worlds, its 6.15 am in Australia, just woke up to find that we STILL cant play. As if a maintenance that was extended way past my bedtime wasnt enough, now, 14+ hours of downtime.
Sure hope theres some huge peace offering in the pipeline, as I see we have another shutdown in a few hours time..... or no, wait, it wont be another one, I bet this classic failure will just be extended.
Very disappointing, but who would even begin to expect anything better.
Can log in to the main window in Chrome only (failed in IE, Firefox and Edge), but much slower than normal. Could replace mines, collect objects and send out geologists, etc, but can't get into the active Adventure at all though - that sits there saying about login queues. I only had two boss fights left and two days to go, so hope they'll extend the timers once they figure out what is going on - be really ticked if I lose all that progress because the timer ran out while I couldn't get in.
All the day now lost because I can't log in, my buffs all off, scouts have done searches, and can't send them, my marbles and granite all dead.
The question now, is the sudden dead o the game finally came true by the hand of junior devs?

As at 0700 on Sandy server still unable to access the game. I can log in but then can't get any further as error page comes up
