Login bonus gone and elite buildings now running without buffs for many hrs, the homepage said this wont be more than half a day. hoping for some decent compo BB!
Not been a downtime like this in all my time here!
Delightful, so by the time us night owls get back on again, that'll be nigh on 48 hrs missed with all the login bonuses zapped, explorers all over the place and any advs etc... ruined. :(
Thank heavens I have the accounts on servers BB do still care about, at least I can get a bit of playing time on those.
18 hours was the previous record. Good job BB beating that one today.

I think its good with updates but now my mines will run empty and miss daily bonus. but well hope this is for better for all of us.
Not ideal. Well over 24hrs now. Nothing on Twitter for 8+ hrs. Not sure about accounts on other servers...for TSO?
Seems a long time to wait to replace hard drive/power supply etc. Seems more like a targeted problem.
It's been longer than a day so at least everyone's island should have shut down by now.

It was Sunday, they didn't bother to work on fixing it.
As I understand it this is a much bigger issue than BB (all their games are down). It would seem that their internet provider has been hit by a DoS attack and those can take a long time to recover from.
This is why you're not seeing any information through the home page etc. BB have no ability to provide information because they have no internet connection. To be blunt it would seem that this incident is completely out of their control so no point having a pop at them.

Things are looking up, first time I have been able to get on here in 36 hours
And here we are... 24 hrs later, and back to the same situation as yesterday, where the site has been unavaileble all day till now, , finally i can see the website again, and forum is up (with hick-ups) too.
But still is the game not running, and still no comunication from BB on either forum or FrontPage...
Whats the use of pointing players to forum and FrontPage for info, if BB post none?
Certainly if its true , as muffinmule stated that german servers where back 20 hrs ago round 5 yesterday, and we are still waiting then I would expect at least some explanation from BB.....
Problem is that BB has been busy keeping german servers running all the time while keeping them informed about the problems on login page :(
Everyone else seem to have been without any information except 4 different errors when trying to log in / access forum :(
BB is more interested in posting useless SOS-Sonya info - which is realy without any value :(

I dont know wakky, when i look at the german FrontPage, it has no further info then the same maintenance warning for today.
And according to MM the French server was back at 11 yesterday evening, so it was not just the germans who got back online, and maybe more countries did get back online yesterday too, dont know, dont even know if the germans and French did indeed get back online, only saw that muffimule said that in another thread, so only got his word for it.. and for as far i know him, I got no reason to distrust him...
Everyone can understand there can be technical difficulties, but the updates and general info are are severely lacking!
Just tried, the French site is up and running.
So WHY are we still struggling. And as everyone else says, why is there NO information.
Hello folks! We've just recently restored service to the website and forums. Since we couldn't access the forums and website, we had to rely on our Social Media channels to notify and update players on the issue.
I'll have more information regarding the restoration of the game server itself shortly after the maintenance has finished.

I understand that you guys didnt ask for all this either, but after the biggest outage of this game (well for our 3 worlds at least) I think we earn an explanation, and most of us will understand murphy's law , where all goes wrong when least expected.
So I look forward to that further information .
*Well I look more forward too play again, so lets hope we get this mess as soon as possible behind us, so I can start restoring my Island :D
But after that I hope we get something more substantial then the usual, Nords attacking, or earthquake, sunflares wich made communication impossible and so on ;)
When will the maintenance be finished as we are now past the proposed time?
The german servers are apparently up and running so the maintenance on network seems to have finished- I guess the problems on these servers might not - or we hit lucky and see these go live soon as well
Will wait and see- as if there is any other option anyway ))

Thanks for the understanding comments folks! As promised, here to update: while we have restored the website/forum, the game is going to take a little longer. We plan to have everything back up and running at 17:00 GMT (a little under 2 hours from this post). I will update further as soon as I hear more news.
Lets hope they dont postpone that untill tomorow's maintenance is done .... LOL (Just kidding...)Quote:

I bet it's the rabbits. They started to dig their way up and caused the crash.
at least i can get back on the forum and homepage again. been getting Http/1.1 Service Unavailable all day. tried to login once i got the homepage to work again but keep getting login technical error try again later.
Oh well gave me time to go out and get some shopping done and pay the bills lol.
What a pitty, I loose al my iron- and goldmines on level 6. I hope I wil get it back and the problems wil be fixed soon. I wish the gameteam a lot of inspration.

Maintenance obviously running overtime, can log in but game won't load. Comes up doing maintenance still. Nearly 48 hours without game available now.
I am pretty sure they did what they could. You could find a tiny bit of information on face-book.
I could however have wished for someone to give just a little bit more info. Best have been if they had decided early on to give some kind of time frame, and thereby not wasting peoples time who keep on trying to get in all sunday.
We all wanted our end of week login bonus.
I so wanted to get my pathfinder weekly bonus, by solving last quest " log in every day for 7 days. ( Bye bye 5000 star coins :( ) So I was one of the impatient people who kept trying.
Hello, again folks! Unfortunately, we are going to need another two hours to ensure the game is back up with enough stability. I know this is frustrating for a lot of you, but we need the extra time to try and get it all down smoothly, and so that there are no hidden surprises when we deploy the technical implementation of the Easter Event. The new ETA is now 19:00 GMT.
