Hi all with login problems. Possible solution for now. sorry for the non-structured reply.
I still can't log in with chrome or firefox. It takes more than 30 min at least and then my patience is gone. So i tried MS edge and it worked better. Normal login time, but with edge i have another problem. When i type in the chat the letters have a long lag and its a pain to write anything. If i move the mouse they come quicker but anyway TALLIUM mentioned some other browsers i could try.
Vivaldi is based on opera (cant remember if it worked for me)
Brave (didnt try this one)
Avant ( this one can switch between browser engines , chrome, firefox and IE)
Im using Avant (IE) now and it works fine for now. I can login and write text in chat and mail :)

My 2 cents on this.
Seems to happen mostly with chrome. Did happen once with firefox too. Has never happened with IE.
If it happens it seems to be random but some accounts seem to be affected and others not at all. I have an account on all english servers and 4 have never had it but 1 keeps getting it on chrome and that one time on firefox.
Good indication if still working or stuck is also memory consumption when loading. If working its increasing steadily if not its almost not changing or jumping around wildly. for ex: 300mb to 500mb to 700mb to 400mb in 2 sec.
This is a real bummer. Had it a long time ago and it didnt get fixed until reinstalled whole win10. BB suggested reinstall browser but didnt work for me.Quote:

Last night I was able to get on using Safari browser - still took half an hour but it did finally load. This morning I tried Chrome again and got it loaded in 10 minutes (which is about normal for me) (it's 10 AM here right now)
Now even when it loads in less than 30 minutes theres a chance of corrupted graphics.
And yes , cache cleared etc.

Until flash-update to version 32.0.0.171 I did not have any problems but since then I experience the login problem.
Usually login takes about 1m 30s -
Now I, after login or reload from game experience that the load-bar on startscreen dont get past halfway after more than 2 minutes.
If I then click reload again, game usually loads in 1m 30s.

I had the long loading, up to 15 mins, not long b4 Easter event it stopped & went back to 2 mins load up, did nothing different, I never bother clearing cache or anything. sounds like its seriously annoying for u guys. 1 problem BB may never solve.
I have had some success with people using this workaround:
1)open facebook in one tab and open the game in another
if that does not help
2) close the facebook tab and reload the game
if either of these 2 options work, please post here and let us know

Yes, game loaded after 70 minutes, just don't refresh, just open the game and keep waiting that progress bar to keep going or just open something else to play until that bar and game fully loaded.

I use aviator browser on my pc now, it blocks flash and adds to keep you safe.
To log-in into the game i have to confirm that i want this site run flash and hey presto works like a dream.
4 hours today and still trying!
7 hours every thing cleared and restarted, 3 different browser, 2 different internet connections, please fix this
Same for me, trying to logon since more than 20 hours now, always takes up to 45 Minutes before I can see the game in the background, but get a popup window on top, saying Server Zone Init failed, pls reload..... tried several different browsers, cleared everything, tried even several different computer and internet connections - always the same... fix this pls as it spoils the game a lot.... finally remembered why i stopped playing this game years ago :-(
Dunno if its any help to those investigating this but this morning, as I couldn't log in on normal browser tried a very old version of opera and after about 15m I got in but was met with endless security messages all relating to data being passed by the current server to a server named w01g04.thesettlersonline.com which was being seen as insecure. I've never seen this message on any other connection I have made to the settlers, either on Chrome or a current version of Opera.
Avant browser has solved my problem. I've gone from 3-4 hour waiting times almost every day to straight in. It's worked the last three days now without fail.
i havent had major problems usually in within 20 minutes but seeing how so many have had issues and are missing out on a event and BB havent addressed the issue is appalling there was a time you would of been all over this and if this is a flash based problem then i dread to think how bad it will get eventually the fact you are not doing anything or if you are it isnt a priority is a worrying sign of how much you value the game and the players
Got kicked out with a message saying ''refresh .... contact support ......" it didn't stay long enough to read that it said.
5 attempts now to relogin , each time i get to the point of the only thing being downloaded is the facebook 10 minute ping
have 3 friends stuck in a co-op that won't be happy
and thats over 1GB of data i have had to redownload. ( even clearing cache 3 times now hasn't allowed the 5th login to complete )
Why do we need to repeatedly download 200meg of data to play the game ???

The difference , and i should have spotted it earlier was that the 4 .bin files were all downloading at same time , none were queued

for those still having trouble, there is a possible remedy for long loading times on the test server whereby you increase the cache size of your browser.

After a long day playing and getting 6 or 7 chat reset in a row, flash crashed again.
This time i just clicked log off on homepage and logged in fresh.
Restarted browser and less than 1 minute load
P.S. I am back on my ISP DNS server, OpenDNS blocked me withing minutes of loading game last night
seems the game cant handle if the news tab gets a lot of text in it over the hours of playing and it loads it again every time you change zones and chat crashes.
why does it still take us so long to log into the game we are loosing valueable time this morning it took me 3 h its not acceptable when this has been going on since maintance i have already put in tickets to the tegs with no results i even posted here about 2 times before why is there nothing done and have have cleared cashe on my comp. we all from diffrent countries all using diffrent internets so we is the problem with the game and not with the players

It's insanly slow also from steam. Cant change browser, or refresh, so no way to change anything in the loading.
At least with broser version you can always try another one.
