Still haven't been able to log on since the maintenance fix start of August. Been playing for maybe 10 years. Terrible being cut of from my guildite friends. They will think I'm dead.

no need to make a huge drama out of it- yes it is annoying, yes you might be missed, no they won't think you are dead as they all know that there are issues with the game at the moment

I myself havnt been able to log into the game for almost 4 weeks now and when it did almost load in it was a very old game not my current game thats has been running for almost 8 years now.

Bar gets to exactly the same time each attempt until the hammerman appears - even let him run for several hours in case.
Was fun while it lasted, off to spend my money elsewhere.
Still here and unable to login, 2 weeks without contact with my guild. In the middle of a pandemic they mostly likely think I'm dead.
what is incognito mode? i am not a dab hand at PC's i load a game i play the game, i am not technically minded also DNS? what is that, a lot a people like me on here and you are not helping with these terms i'm sorry.
With your browser open, hit cntrl, shift, "n" and it will open up a dark screen that lets you know you are going incognito.Quote:

So the first update, useless, if anything it made things worse. Now you going for a second and in the changelog, well its a waste of a maintenance... take unity off.. put the client back and fix the damn thing once and for all. The game is just not worth bothering with.
Client is just an intermediate solution- Would be best if they used it for another few months while getting unity working though cause this version is far from workable and even futher from enjoyable. It look s and feels like it needs many a month of effort to get there
It is a bit if a shame as this route probably will chase a load of players away

Hammerman still here also. So disappointed that BB/Ubisoft haven't been able to fix TSO to allow us access. I was hoping that this maintenance would have fixed the problem :(Quote:

I would just like to tell you that my Island has not worked right since the 4Aug21 update/maintenance.
Since that update I have the following problems:
Hammerman appears immediately after game loads and '14 times out of 15', I get a "connection to server lost" error window and the game goes back to settlers-on-line homepage. The '1 time out of 15' the game loads ok.
When the game loads the first thing I see is blue colour for the grass (instead of green), the whole island looks like it is flooded.
Lots of things will not work:-
Provision house and rarity provision house - Placeholder icons instead of buff icons and nil operation
Barracks and elite barracks - nothing happens when I click on them
Epic workyard (all three) - nil operation
Oil mill and oil refinery - nil operation
Mayors house collections buffs - nil operation
Explorers - nil operation
Geologists - nil operation
Generals - nil operation
Chat - no functions at all
Friend/Guild list - no lights for on-line players
I have talked to other players and their games are just as bad as my game (so it is not just me).
When Unity was first introduced it worked ok (about 65% as good as the old flash client), then you had a maintenance (on the 4Aug21) and everything stopped working properly.
BB, Please fix this!

Yes, Unity now "works" for my 64-bit system, but the JavaScript errors remain on 32-bit machines. When are you going to let our 32-bit players back in please???????Quote:

I would guess that you have the TSO homepage bookmarked? My guess is that the uplay login times out and actually clicking on anything on the home screen causes your uplay credentials to be checked (often giving the uplay failures if a timeout has been detected). Even when I'm on the homepage, I click on "News" first (as that actually does the uplay check and login correctly) before I click anything else (including the forum as that disallows posting if uplay has timed out too).....Quote:
