I have no chat and no mail. Half of my guild can't log in. Event should be the last thing on your "to-do list", BB! :-(

Think its the last, who else would first screw up a working game, so no one can play it or log into it, then without fixing it start an event....

Why start an event at all when all the unsolved problems make playing - no, trying to play - an event by themselves? Incredible...
The state of the game is not worth an anniversary at all, the way things are going there may be no one left for an anniversary next year...
Event start around mid september gives BB under 3 weeks to get this mess sorted, can they do it??
I would love to keep playing on old flash client as it at least worked. But not with unofficial workaround. I'm not educated in IT enough to understand why BB actually did not give us official client option until Unity is playable and what are the risks connected to using this route.Quote:

You need to carefully follow all the instructions on the wiki/forum thread, if you leave anything out (like for example, not renaming the exe file) then the link to the old client will just launch the current unity client.Quote:

what are the minimal technical requirments you suggest BB?
and think about another update system like C/CD if it is possible
when is there going to be a acknowledgment of the problems here, ignoring the problems and us the players is not helping
Maybe, just maybe this "celebration" is BB's roundabout way of giving the few who can login a farewell "party"? Instead of the minimum requirements being "Level 16 or 25 (or whatever level)", this event will have the minimum requirement of "able to login and find your island above water"!!!
If you can get in, then maybe a few candles, MINIMAL cake dough and a couple hundred (maybe) balloons across all servers!? Not much of a celebration IMHO!
Maybe this event version will mix things up and our festival halls will get visited by party crashers and golems too as football players kick pumpkins and chocolate eggs around on the festival hall's rooftop football field?

When I saw mention on chat of a forthcoming event I assumed it was a wind-up. To find it is true is beyond comprehension. Sorry BB but you either have no idea how cross the players are - including all those YOU locked out by an update - or are just plain ignorant, not ignorant of the facts, pure and simple ignorant. I assume the people running the game are the same team that did the VW emission figure manipulation? Head in the sand till caught and then walk away.

I am not sure what this means, but is this fix for those of us who have not been able to log in since the Unity Conversion?
I am frustrated with not being able to get past the "hammerman", but to announce an event when so many of us cannot even log rubs salt into the frustration wounds of the loyal community members.
It looks like you don't understand our frustration with the game. You keep fixing unimportant issues and leave the 2 main problems unaddressed:
1. guilds can't communicate and interact when the guild chat isn't working and we can't see who's online.
2. generals are not working properly. I just did "at the foot of the mountain" and generals I sent was replaced with other generals, I couldn't see/activate or call back attacking generals.
And now you're planning an event that will only add to the frustrations. Probably because events usually generate money for BB. I can't see any other reason for it anyway.
Since you seam ignore our frustration and our repeated pleas for fixing the issues that's important for us, I'll try to talk in a language you might understand: I'm not paying a single dime to for gems before these problems are solved. Event or no event!!
Loads of negative posts about this choice from BB. Please all remember that we can explain to them the issues with doing this, however, it is impossible for us to understand on their behalf. Lets hope that they have comprehended this and done something about it before it is too late.
MOH, you used words of more than one syllable. Unlikely therefore that anyone at head office will comprehend. We can tell them but we cant make them understand if they lack the capability.
Hello The game is still unplayable, cannot play the event with this stuff...
I cannot send explorers it's too laggy and I have 100+ explorers to send to play the event.
Buffs are still grayed out, not fixed.
Now also visiting friends I have Lucky explorer instead some other buff so I don't know what's there in the spot.
And i still not playing adventures...
It's totally crap and you keep it going...
They really don't give a toss what we write they will carry on in their own incompetent way.
