Hi, level 14 so pretty new. I have 2 questions.
1) How do you pay eg gold from resources when you're not buying anything?
2) If I need to buff a friend's building, should I buff any old thing? What if they don't want it buffed?

On the bottom of your quest book there should be a button that allows you to pay the requested resources. Be careful that you don't confuse this button with the complete for gems button.
Just ask your friends if you can buff one of his buildings till one says yes. He'll probably also tell which building(s) you can buff
you can always buff wells, and most people have them. If the person likes to keep balance on everything, buffing wells will not make any difference for them.
Where do I get map fragments from?
You can send explorers out on adventures where they will return with map fragments IF they don't find an adventure. Or if you got the Rarity Provision House, which can be bought at the merchant for 3495 gems, you can produce them in there for the cost of simple paper, intermediate paper and nibs. And there's also the opportunity to buy in trade office.
please, develop churches :)
what on earth for?
I have two quests which I can't complete, despite having the necessary items/production.
A new job requires 100 fish, I have over 500, but there's nowhere to click and finish the quest. The same with Theodor gets attacked, I've boosted production as required to complete the quest, but can't do other quests without finishing this one. e.g. I'm not making Steel to save coal and iron. This one just completed.
How can I persuade the game to let me finish these quests?
Thanks in advance,
Steve
1) "A new job" is a daily quest, and as such not required to progress in the game. It might even still being listed as a waiting quest, if so you need to finish the currently active daily quest.
2) "Theodor gets attacked": Many starting players have problems with the quests that require you to balance your production. Read this guide by Gerontius to make sure you didn't overlook something. You already passed some of the other "economy quests, so it might be something else. Just make sure you meet all requirements at the same time.
If the following requirements are all green, and you can't claim the reward on the quest (after waiting a few minutes and reloading), contact Support using the contact form on this page
- Have a production value of at least 600 every 12 hour(s) for Bronze Swords.
- Have a production value of at least 0 every 12 hour(s) for Coal.
- Have a production value of at least 0 every 12 hour(s) for Bronze.
- Have a production value of at least 0 every 12 hour(s) for Copper Ore.
Hi,
Defeat a bandit camp using "just 50 cavalry or more", does that mean you can only use cavalry, or can you eg. use 50 cav together with other types of units?
Tnx, ::C::
I read that as only being able to use cavalry (50 +) - but I have to admit I don't specifically remember doing it so I'm open to correction.
Is there a way to reset a profile and start the map all over again???
only by contacting support
Not sure if this was asked, but how can you move a storehouse? I have a couple of them in the same area and would like to spread them out.
Also, what is the advantage of a silo?
Thank you in advance.
Storehouse: Sorry, you can't. You have to build a new one where you want it and then tear the old one down. Really a bummer when they are leveled up.
Silo: It refills wheat fields, so that you don't have to rebuild them. A level 1 silo can keep 1 wheat field full against a level 1 farm.
Hope this helps
thank you!!!
very new to game - how do i trade as an alternative
Hello!
I wanted to know why i can`t add a friend to my list.
Could it be becouse he is in another server ?
If yes ,then how can i change the server to be with him in one server?
or you can just make a new account on the server your frend is on.
You can go to " thesettlersonline.com " --> register with a new e-mail --> select the server " realm " your friend is playing and start over ( without using steam )

i am stuck on attack waves - how do you do this please?
a "wave" is an attack by a general.
so, two "waves" are two attacks, and so on. if you need two waves to defeat a camp, you can either send two generals if you have them (they will fight one after the other) or send the first wave, wait for your general to recover from his defeat, and then send the second wave.
make sure that you send the generals in the correct order, or it will be a disaster!
how do i refill a mine please
how do I get a fairytale casle
What does the Rarity Provision House do, please?
If I get some more presents I could buy one at the Merchant's, but don't know whether it's worth it. Thanks.

how do I block?
For some examples, see the wiki in the adventures section. Many of the guides include blocks. They are also common in other guides by assorted players.
Basically, blocking is an attack on a camp that will neither win nor lose, and thereby prevent that camp from intercepting a general. The object then is to do another attack on the leader camp for that sector, and when the leader is destroyed all other camps in that sector are destroyed too. If the block lasts long enough for you to take out the leader you lose nothing in the camp that was doing the block.
For example, say there was a leader camp with a regular camp next to it. Trying to attack the leader would cause the general to get intercepted by the nearby camp. So a force is sent to the regular camp to 'keep it busy' while another general slips by and goes to the leader, and when the leader is defeated the other camp will be gone too.
Use a guide for the first few times till you get used to it, then you can consider creating your own. Remember, the block needs to last long enough for you to do another attack on the leader and defeat it. AND MOST IMPORTANT use regular generals to block (not Grim Reaper, MMA, etc.) so the fight will last long enough for the main attack to work. There are very few exceptions to this, and as far as I know the Wiki adventure guides always expect a regular general in a block.
Also, I think it's important to say that blocking is not officially supported by BB so if something goes wrong (and sometimes it does) there's no point in complaining. Sometimes I don't block and take out all the camps one by one so that I know exactly what I will lose, because some complex blocks can fail on you causing you to lose a lot of troops. So keep in mind there is risk involved.
I have lost faith in the combat simulator.
Trying to find the best result for the Gunpowder adv camp #22 and it keeps telling me to use 270 recruits with a loss of 146 - 170 which is NOT the best result at all.
Best result I can find so far would be 58r, 1es, 130cav & 81 cannon with a loss of 48 - 58 recruits.
Yes, I have clicked on all resets, yes I have cleared cache and yes I have rebooted.
Hi,
I am trying to complete The Last Route. I have to send my explorers to gather 500 granite and 500 exotic wood using very long treasure searches. However, when I used books on one of my explorers it seemed to suggest the medium treasure search was likely to give me granite - so I am wondering (as I don't seem to be obtaining exotic wood or grantic on very long searches and they take forever), if in fact the quest should be for some other treasure search?
I've been at this quest for some time now and don't seem to getting very far - in fact if I can remember correctly - the exotic wood and granite I have found, came from searches other than very long ones.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
VH
'The Last Route' requires a very long treasure search. And you will have to be very patient - this one will take a while as the explorers don't find granite/exotic wood very often and it takes a lot. Just hang in there.
Thanks Xibor. Do you mean the 'very long' treasure search?
Find 500 granite during a very long treasure search
Find 500 exotic wood during a very long treasure search
Yes - apologies for the mistake in the previous post. The type of search is taken literally in this case. Good luck!
