I just tried, but i get intercepted by the middle camp there no matter what. If u look at the area of influence, its seems u cant skip middle camp... ?

I assume your general position is not entirely well placed then? We had over 10 betatesters on this map, and we are using a very popular method from the german forums. It's in a number of guides there (exact same general placement). So I'm 100% sure its OK (did around 6 nords myself with it..!)
If you can make a screenshot where you place the general ?
Also, it's important you do not destroy camp 11 by accident in step 7 (forgetting to retreat, in other words). Without the right camp in place, middle camp will always intercept :)

hehe, and I thought I put enough RETREAT! marks both at the camp on the right and on the way to it :)
It is however interesting to see that from that position you can get to the boss without the rightmost camp present. A good alternative for folks who forgot to retreat at step 7 ! I'm going to contemplate how to make that knowledge useful. Thanks for trying anyways!

The Nords guide works perfect ... just read well en place your garrison correctly
The Nords guide:
Camp 3: 50 HouseCarl and 75 Karl
Camp 6: 75 HouseCarl and 50 Karl
On your guide they seems to be the same. Great Work man :)
Different setup for Island of the pirates (doesnt need Soldiers or Crossbows):
1st camp: 50R 200C (5-10R die)
2nd to 9th: 250R each (from 20R to 70R die on each camp, depends which one)
10th camp: wave1 115R (115 die), wave2 50R 200C (about 20R die)
total
Send: 650R 200C
Lost: about 540R
End result is quite the same, but u dont need soldiers or crossbowman which are quite expensive to get ;-)

Change on camp 3 the ammount of Xbows to 250 plz, cause i just did 200A and got 5A loss :'(
5 Karls survived somehow and killed my 5 crossbowmen :(

in adv Old Friends camp nr 4 with troop setting like 150R 20C 80 A maximal losses is 150R 20C 58A !
Mine setting for this camp 149R 1S 20C 80A [129-143R]
You need to increase the number of simulations, akanaki. And maybe dnarag1m needs to do that as well... :)
With 5000 simulations your setup also has the same chance of losing lots of crossbows: 149R 1S 20C 58A !
The reason for those maximum losses is the rare occasion where the Dark High Priest isn't killed in battle round 3, and gets one extra charge.
When optimising the number of units, always check if you can get the maximum number of rounds of fighting down one extra step.
That might have quite a significance when attacking leaders with splash damage, and especially with the High Dark Priest, who has last strike.
In my guide for the Old Friends, I have this setup for that camp (number 6 in my guide):
With this setup the Dark High Priest is always killed in round 3.
And since there is a very small risk of one soldier dying, I have used two of them, to ensure no cavalry ever dies.
I just lost 8 Xbowman on ur camp3 setup for The Nords... :/
I just did your Nords camp 8 and it didn't work - I did camp 7 (from the position todo 8) and it looked like 8 would be fine but when i sent him to 8 he got 'distracted' to the other camp so I had to retreat him - shame I was looking forward to saving the 28M's.
Also did you know camp 7 can be killed with just 200A and no losses.

Dragon_Breath in last attack you need to do both camps (7 and 8 ) in ONE attack - You just attack camp 8 and be interupted by camp7 and after that you general is walking into camp8 (under arrow you have "interupt ok"). If you will take camp 7 first and then try to attack camp 8 then other camps will interupt you ofcourse. You need camp7 to be not interupted by other camps. And that attack works perfect even in new path.

Hi, not sure if anyone else has had this happen, but camp 1 on Dark Priests, I sent 250c and was intercepted by the expected camp, but also trap 1 and in total I lost 25c. Not a problem, but think your map needs to show that loss :)
dnarag1m and his guild made this adventure guide before, new path finder was placed.
dnarag1m last activity was 28.05.12 13:22 and he is not updated this thread since then.
just ran this and there seems to be new pathing. Ran it exactly as mapped and losses are heavier in C and rec than stated
