-Oh am quoting the wrong msg but still... am getting the same maintenance msg-
Am stuck now at the loading screen... I just started the tutorial expedition minutes before server crashed... It is now half hour later. My expedition will expire and I am not gonna wait for the server to stop crashing and looping.
Quick question: Should I bother sending a ticket to customer support? Last time the servers had a "Performance Issue" you were not willing to provide any support/refund/compensation whatsoever...

Around 12:05 GMT got the maintenance page, after i refreshed browser now stuck in Login Queue at the loading screen. After 25 mins of waiting (48 of 211), it is getting little tiring now.
Also, I am running on premium, will there be any extension to the game time where it was unplayable? Its not just waste of half an hour, or an hour. Most of us play in slots, morning before leaving for work, lunch time, coming back from work in evening. Just missing a single slot is tantamount missing out on more than a quarter of day or more. I request you to consider this when we do come back online and take any corrective measures.
Expect another exciting bunny basket of 50 eggs to make up for the 1000's that serious players will loose because of things like this occurring. I am almost over Easter.... can I have another egg :)
Same issue, in queue for over 15 min now. Fix it ! I hate paying for this quality !
And fix it soon, I have advs open and I just put premium on today !
This is unacceptable, the quality is worse than Beta version.

I have been locked out for about 3 hours now - a real waste cause I had consumed a 1 day premium about 2 hours earlier. grrrrrr
If it helps with resolving the problem the page I get shown is entitled Maintenance. It says....
We are currently carrying out maintenance work on the website and/or game servers. This does not usually take longer than half a day.
please be patient and wait a few minutes before you reload the site.

I'd really like some of the gems I spent buying premium for 7 days twice over Easter back - sure they worked out ok for the first few days but lag killed any benefits for me over the time period - there were 3 days where I couldn't even log in, let alone play.

It's not about compensation, it's about frustration.
we can understand once, twice.... but c'mon, we are not stupid or lab rats.
BB and Ubisoft not respecting their customers, this is what it's about.
Not the support fault or whatever, the whole is rotten lately.
I send them a personal support letter, though I expect nothing from them, as would not be the first that gets unresovled.

Compensation does have a tendency to quell frustration, I'm sure UbiSoft are not deliberately killing their income stream either :)

I know it's not much, but it won't kill you.... and might actually do some good in terms of public relations (which is, essentially, your job here), especially when folk like me, inevitably, get told by support that we are not going to get any form of recompense for the Expedition, that I was in the middle of when the game crashed, expiring during this period I am unable to access the game.
Although, it is the poor folks struggling to get that 3200 eggs achievement that end up losing valuable explorer time because of this that I really feel for. I am pretty sure I have a couple sitting idle right now, myself because I am stuck in a log in queue from Hell!
So I have a new bug to report: the "RT" (remaining time) feature does not adequately report the "remaining time." It does change, seemingly aleatorically.
Because of these problems twice already during this event they should also extend the event. They practically stole from us almost a full day of hunting !
(1) you're not the only one burning premium, the hard fact of it is you run the risk when you buy a token. BB give out a fair few though out the year to cover this.Quote:

(2) 3 days that you could not log in ? I have one of the naffs net connections in the UK, yet even with 70mph winds i was still abel to get on, so I will call shenanigans on that.

So much for my plans to slack off during work, now I actually have to do something productive with my time :(
It is quite simple, they did a 'maintenance' and that 'maintenance' did something or undid something that gives the game makers a reason to do as they choose which may reset things, remove things, or adjust things so that WE the players will in some way be forced to purchase from them the gems to do things going forward OR weed out those who do not spend money on the game. It is their simple economic ploy to see who they can keep and who leaves.

I actually got one, privately, from Technical Support, only a couple of weeks ago when I contacted them regarding the game going totally screwy at the beginning of the event. Even I was surprised how much it changed the mood of my discourse from one of 'fed up rant' into 'rational discourse'. There's a lesson to be learned there, I feel.
Probably because it is something really bad like a server hack, the taliban or aliens so maybe best that we are at a safe distance.Quote:
