same here just says shut down for maintenance purpose please try later been saying that for over 2 hours now
approx 3h now unable to login;
First logins just stalled; cleared cache, rebooted, waited 15m several times.
Have tried different browsers as well...

Was building defences on a colony; hope it will still be there when back online again
OS: Windows 7
browser: Chrome v. 60.0.3112.101
still can't get in loads up and then say's sever shutting down for maintenance purpose please try later been saying that for over 2 hours now

can get in and on main island, but get thrown out when try to play adv. but others in my guild are in and playing adv's so not sure whats going on. have refreshed all stuff/cache etc but still no joy

So an meeting and more then an hour later I come back to try again, on the mainpage the maint message is gone, so I asume they solved their mess....
NOPE.... still getting the Server Zone Crashed message...just as i keep getting since the game kicked me out cause the server was too busy.....
So much fun when a fix for a problem i didnt have, leads to a problem i do have.... NOT!!!

I cant log on either, same issues as above. a friend of mine on same server can log on so appears some people can get on others not, i don't expect a quick response to this issue because of this.
I dont see anyone reporting problems with Internet Explorer. It's not my favourite browser either but it allowed me into the game and it's smooth to boot, maybe worth a try.
Have tried with IE and Firefox as well, same problem.
BB: Maybe add a note on homepage with current connection issues...

Slim clent here - From the home page I hit "Play now" and after it goes through the motions of loading the game, I get this:

If I hit the tick, I get bounced to the home page wallpaper - with nothing else; no info, no buttons...
Oh, and according to the home page, the maintenance is [completed]. Windows 10 (64-bit).
Same problem/symptoms running Chromium 60.0.3112.78 on 32-bit Ubuntu 16.04, also on Chromium 60.0.3112.78 on 64-bit Ubuntu 17.04
If you're going to move the thread into another one and then complain that we're not sticking to the subject of one that we didn't post in why not merge it into talking about dinosaurs and then you can ignore everything that we've said unless it contains the word stegosaurus? This is exactly the sort of shoddy attitude towards the TSO community that leads to us all being locked out for hours and trying to complain about it!
Tried on edge, on IE and with opera, on 2 seperate pc's (1 on windows 7, 1 on windows 10).
And result is the same everywhere.... SERVER ZONE CRASHED!!!
Not been able to play for 4 hrs now( I was ingame when I got kicked out) , must have missed several explorers comming back, sure several buildings will now be without a buff, and mines collapsed not being able to send out geologist.....
I wonder if the person who sold me a lootspot 4 hours ago is still waiting

I still believe that merging OP with this messed up the both threads, It must be separated.
I haven't been able to play over a week, the game does load, but veeeery slowly and performing one action takes about 5-7 minutes. So can't do adventures, don't have patience to send explorers out, can't really do anything there. That problem started after latest update of firefox, however either chrome won't work - nor IE. Hope this maintenance fixes that too.

I uninstalled the flash player and reinstalled it: no effect
This problem started 17.8.
One curious thing though that I just noticed: when I’m playing with full screen mode, the lagging problem goes away and game works fine

In the age of virtual networking, virtual servers etc... You could roll out a change like this at night, you could even have 1:1 copy of your infrastucture and test it before you roll out changes live...

Rolling out changes when the majority of your users are awake will actually give you a income loss that day, you could even do calculations to evaluate when the income loss is at the lowest...

Don't know if it was this or previous changes but the mouse scroll wheel changing the scale of the map works only if I am in full screen through the game tab, i.e. not through F11 or double click on title bar or ... However, when I go to full screen in that particular manner, the keyboard 'double-strikes'. For example, 'adv' becomes 'aaddvv'. The scroll function works as it should outside the game as does the keyboard while in full screen. I have looked at some of the options, changed screen resolution, and various other things trying to resolve this issue and been unsuccessful. Hopefully this is not a 'one off' and you can correct the peculiar behaviour I find only on SOL.

still buggy, still freezing tbh you cant fix it, 5 years you have tryed hahah
Every adventure I play I get 2-3 game freezes usually at about the same place. After defeating a camp or attempting to transfer a general - game FREEZE. If I press refresh I can start playing again - all browsers are the same ( except Microsoft edge after update month or so ago the hotkeys stopped working ). Occurs with slim browser too but restarting that is a pain in the proverbial.
ok since the paper adirion was taken down a few hours ago, games become unplayable, im having to zoom in out every minit to keep game from freezing
