They won't know how many people can't use the new client, won't be able to contact any of them and after a few days or week most people will resign themselves to looking for a new game to play. Maybe that was their intention of course

would be nice if somebody from bb could respond on here - even if it is just to say they are aware and are investigating. i hope they are working this weekend with so many unhappy customers
yes they did 125% on the gems took the money now cant log in
that file is in my C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun directory
I'm using win10 64bit, tested with chrome, firefox and edge - no success. Even cleared all chrome cache and restarted computer. Still not able to launch the new client: https://prnt.sc/w5jjyj

some needed to change browser combatÃble setup before it worked have you tried doing that?
Find the TSO client icon on your taskbar, right click, and right click again on client.exe
Select properties (see image 1)
In Compatibility -> Change high DPI settings, set "High DPI scaling override, Scaling performed by: Application" (see image 2)
Close the client and restart it.

4 hours and still no response from support. It's not like it's a problem that all of Steam are shafted I guess.
I can't get the new client to do anything at all. I get error messages when I run the installer and although I get a message saying that it has installed correctly, when I click play I get absolutely nothing. So I have let my guild down by missing the GQ, missed my log in bonus and can see no way that I'm going to be able to play this game agai until BB put the old login back in place preferably before the new event starts on Monday.
I am using Win 7 64 bit and Firefox. Come on BB!
I instaled new client but it was not working .. then i tried to uninstall it and bugger deleted half of my hard drive . Now i cant log in at all!!
I've got an iMac so this will probably results in a game over :(
Can't start the game. The client freezes during loading the game and become not responding. Windows 10, 64bit. Chrome browser.

I'm unable to get it to run either.
I keep getting the "Unable to update client" error message
I downloaded the program and did what was told in the instructions. Once the game is loading you need patience. It took 10 minutes or so to download my island and from time to time i got the message "program does not respond"... but eventually i could start the game. (i hope the next time, loading times will be shorter, however....)
So : if you dont get errors while downloading/installing, be patient.
Let's see how playable the new client is.
i am running windows 10, 64 bit,and i have been trying for hours but still the same pop up message update client,i cant believe they have not posted up anything about it,

Game generally slower, fing excelsior bugged as does others and I hope you aren`t tight on memory as even switching off adobe and Pinky I`m getting out of memory errors when I try to load another web page eg adv guide. Will now definitely have to upgrade the ram to play the game upto 8

It's certainly not slower (quite the opposite in fact), and although I do have 8GB it's "only" using around 848MB. I'm actually working at the moment so have Chrome open with multiple tabs (over 500MB of memory used by itself) plus various apps including Zoom.
I did find it much faster after I closed it down from first install, others have mentioned this also.
Edit: Excelsior does work but doesn't show the animation.

Tried reinstall, but same issue. :(
Same for Linux. Not everyone uses Windows. There are going to be a lot of very upset Mac and linux users out there!
