New adventures are locked until level 56 and test server forum has different old troop attempts from the time the advs were added before the level pack announcement.

you will able to play new adventures with new units. not worth to use exist units. same is for celreaing home island. clean only first sector with exist units to have space for new buildings (if you need space or don't want pay gems for new sector).
from treasure searches you will get enough to build new units.
depends on your number of explorer on how fast you can go from lvl 54 to 56, maybe you will need to use x4 buffs.
adveture loot give you more resource than you spend on units
Cheers for the replies Mannerheim and corona88. Seems a shame that we have do do the first 6 levels with normal adventures but still should be fun.
I assume that the FairyTale adventures will drop XP again at L50+ rather than the extra bean slot they currently provide.
Have been reading this thread with interest and have a couple of questions/points:
1. For anyone who has completed an Ali Baba adv - what's the loot drop actually like? is it as good as promised?
2. Seeing as we seem to be resigned to losing star coins (and therefore easy access to nukes) does anyone else think that either BB should make MSE % drops higher from SE loot or make nukes one of the loot drops for FT/Ali Baba adv? Whilst we're at it could we also make the rarity drops % better - I've lost count of the number of SEs I've done without either an Angel Gate or MSE.
3. Given that we're going to have to maintain at least 2 armies (one regular one and another for the new adventures (I don't count PvP as a proper part of TSO)) can anyone tell me if having population on the new islands contributes to the overall total? I am slightly confused by the stores concept still.
4. And finally ... any word on whether BB be making more building licenses available?
The test server loots were often filled with placeholder fish... this tsotesting thread shows some sample loots though
Star coins remain (in quests, the new advs and new buff adventures).Quote:

Star coin shop remains.
Anything built on archipelago or main island contributes to the economy as a whole...Quote:

storehouses are effectively trans-dimensional portals, a settler can put stuff in one and take it from a different one... note though, a forester (for example) built on the archipelago would not be able to walk to a tree-stump located on the island (obviously not clever enough to use the trans-dimensional portals)
The new stores are weirdly, a store that a settler/builder does not have to walk to to build... so you can build the first one even though you cannot walk to the archipelago. Once one is built, settlers/marshals/builders can trans-dimensionally-teleport to it.
You can build an elite store, build an improved store in same sector and then demolish the elite store btw... just first build per sector has to be elite store... this will undoubtedly confuse people
Each sector of the archipelago awards ten new licencesQuote:

With this update all buffing and each day sending my geologist will make me mad im sure about it ....
Just want to clarify... and this is in no way final but on test so far each new sector gives only 3 new licences, not 10 like the ones on main island gave. BUT there are more licencs now that you can buy with Beanstalks, if i remmeber right now you can buy a total of 7 packs of 5 licences each (35 licences). So basically they added 20 more new licences for beanstalks (we could get 15 previously). And also i think we can get some more licence packs for gems too.
Like many other things on test, lots of icons are still only temporary... the icon is of 10 licences, but you only get 3, and i belive it's final. And it's logical, sectors are smaller, 6 sectors on new archipelogs are way smaller then 6 sectors on main island.
I have counted atleast 227 standard build locations total for the new islands.
122 if I recall correctly.
I would surmise that most level 50 players have been swapping out licence buildings to deed ones... demolish fisherman, build fish-farm, storehouse to improved storehouse etc. Mostly likely have at least 20 licences sitting unused.
With the extra bean/stalk buy-able ones I would guess that most people will find a balance without getting desperate for more licences.
Also remember, for most players, taking over the archipelago will take some time.
Most do not have the stockpile of magic beans/stalks in order to buy many of the Sector Deeds immediately.
Doing the South East corner using mainly recruits would be huge losses, so plenty will leave those zones until they have a new troop army.
Depending on camp loot, I will probably take the archipelago rather slowly and kill each camp in turn... quite possibly using MMA 1r where the results yield kills.
Yeah seems they fixed the icon instead of the value. Another change was that they added star coins to some camps or at least I did not get them before.

this is so bad its just funny bb wants to destroy their own game ?
consider this BB im bored to hell with the boring exp grind at lvl 45 yesterday i logged in and thought hmm well this is boring should i go back to grinding BK again for the 200th time or just logout guess which choice won? the logout one this game is getting worse and worse every level and this new expansion makes me feel sick its almost like you do want to destroy your own game or you simply are not in touch with what players really want
devs who use math to work out values/exp tables/loots and dont play their own game to see those changes work, make poor games bad choices that dont go far and make little money..
devs who really play their own game and enjoy it know what the bad choices before they even think about them adding them to their game
which one are you ?

i honestly cant see myself going past 50 if the game is going to turn out like this
after typing this logged in, my will to hit the "play now" button is just gone , logout time
Not sure many of the level 50 players, including myself, would agree. The idea of the expansion isn't to make it a grind but to give you a reason to keep coming back and playing. I am personally looking forward to the new troops, ali baba adventures, and island expansions. It will probably take me 3-5 months from the launch though to even be ready to start doing them.
I will be disappointed in myself if I hit level 75 in less than 2 years. As it has been over a year now since I hit 50 and only the guild and social side have kept me playing. I am looking forward to tweaking my economy, investing in a whole new section of economy, and making guides for the new adventures. Whilst continuing to assist guildmates old and new.
If your target is just to get to the end, then you will be disappointed as the reward for this game is the journey.
Disappointed at less than 2 years?
At 1.5 million xp each and every day you might just beat 2 years... likelihood is you will not be disappointed ;)
Personally I would be very surprised and impressed at my progress if I managed those billion xp in under 2 years, thinking more like 3 or 4 years here (depending upon any extra new content)
Also looking forward to all the new stuff that is coming.
Best idea is to not treat it as a grind and just try to find some adventures and things that you enjoy doing... play the game as a game and not as a race to reach max level.
that exactly :)
it's like a lot are trying to *calculate* how fast they can reach lvl 75
imo such a silly thing to do
so this
is what i will do as well and i can't wait :)Quote:

i don't want to get bored doing SA only, i want to fine tune my island, enjoy playing and not sign in because i have to do 10 adventures a day
all new content is welcome along with new bugs!!
defo want more levels and game being made harder to lv up is most welcomed
im looking forward to many more addys and days of fighting to be on the top listings as iam today
It's an end tier adventure... just for comparison, how many people can do HLT or BLT advs every day that have been in the game for long time? first you need to do few VLT to get one follow up and then when you finally get one you need to do it and hope you get next one :)
Princess is last one in the 5 tier chain. Also estimate for the required mid level alibaba elite troops were several days to weeks to produce.
Personally i am looking forward to all the new content and new levels.. brings a whole new future to look forward to in the game.
I am exited to see whats required and how to reshape island to make way for bigger adv.
I will be dissapointed also if i can reach level 75 in less than 2 years... the journey is part of the fun
Most stopped the grind at around lvl60 since it's the last level worth the effort and there is no "new" content after that. 1M XP per day is possible but pretty impossible to sustain such pace without putting lots of time to this game every day or buy ls in hope for mini quests and waste lots of resources.
all depends on depth of pockets in game really- to get that number of bonus quests you need to buy lootspots- and sell loots ofc and/or get coin other means - esp if it is a continuous process - most will burn out in the process somewhere after lvl 62 as there is no reward left except reaching 75 and that being a long way away even with buying a fair amount of lootspots a day
There are a few at 65, maybe 66 or 67 already- which suggests that the 75 in 2 years will be reached by some )
I love this discussion about lvl75 in 2 years.
Whereas there are plenty of players like me who say what is the point as they will never get to lvl75. I will certainly be long gone before lvl75 is anywhere near.
Some of us have lives outside of TSO. So maybe people should think of every type of player before they complain that it is too easy............
I will never reach 75 and its sad they made it to hard to level up. I dont think I will reach 75 and atm i dont care if i reach 60 its good enough for me.
