Specified issues seem to be addressed. Nice the sea is one colour again.
No discernible performance change for me logging in, navigating, sending specialists or working in star menu. Nowhere near being event playable.
4 mins from login to all layers being built on second restart after maint.
Logged in to check, and there are some improvements, chat was working again.
But game is still horribly slow, and constant zone refresh is still happening. Game is not playable.
Will check after next patch and see.

We'll have a maintenance tomorrow (regular time - please check our login page for more details). This hotfix will remove the incorrect access to the Event Buff (any buffs created before the event will be removed).
well...... pace of sending geos now slower, explorers seem to depart bit faster. Managed to make 25x200 event buffs, so far used one, maybe part of one tomorrow morning. Notgood going, BB!! :(
I have a quest showing on my home island and the quest should not be there, from what I remember it is a quest from VLT (kill 2 giants). try implementing an option to remove the animation on the left hand side for new quests, quests complete, buffs applied, and explorer/geo starting returning. A simple light function that remains on when you have such messages on the returns, quests (buffs are not really needed given emails etc. This will solve a huge number of the performance issues in the game. It is standing there a couple of feet away slapping us in the face to try and tell us that it is a big part of the solution.

Have not been able to log in for a long time now
positively suprised yesterday just around 12. Logged on and evereything worked just fine. Moving around the Island, sending out explorers and geologist, building mines and everething. Hurray they've fixed it!!! Ehhh, only they haven't. Now this morning everything (but scrolling around the Island,) is hust as laggy as it was before. This leads me to think there are server problems with BB, and not our PC's.
The more peeps that are logged on, the more "clogged" the servers get. Are Unity the rigth "engine" for this game? Are the servers fast/big enough for TSO on Unity?
Anyway, till all the bugs are done with, all events should be postponed.
Any comments BB?

I am not interested in any event at all until the game becomes playable. The lag is stil huge (island loading, generals travel, etc) so I'm just login in to keep my economy running at a decent level.
Still lots of bugs: lag, not showing who's online, etc.
I am still amazed on how BB announces the fixing of insignificant bugs, like showing geos grayed upon returning from searches, but doing nothing on this huge lag on almost everything. There is no improvment on this since unity has been launched. I am afraid it won't be fixed for many months from now on.
At least they could have the decency to tell us officially to use the fix found by other players and use old client until until then. But in this case they will not have anymore all this thousands of lab-rats to test their pathetic unity version.

Started a VLT and joined one.. worked away doing half.. beginning or end did not matter.. then the addy freezes. could still write in chat but addy did not work. I was able to leave but never got back in, the others had to finish. Even shuting down game, computer.. waiting an hour loged off. I could not get back in
Still the hammerman problem (cannot to server error) still there and don't know how to fix it. But not me but my other friends from this side of world too. Pity going to miss the upcoming event and I think for the 1st time. Watch a shame..Quote:

BB, what's up? WHat buggs and errors are you working with? Generals switching place on adventures? Regular and frequent freezing and island taking forever to reload maybe?

It may have been mentioned here, but just to be sure that you're aware of the problem:
How did the error manifest itself?
The zoom in and out (ctrl +/-) . My mouse wheel do work, but there's very little difference between max zoom in and max zoom out. Especially the zoom out is a problem since it's often not possible to have both the gens camp and the enemy camp on the screen at the same time (without scrolling to go from one to the other).

I complained over the gen problem to Traffer the other day and got the advice not to place the gens too close. Today I'm playing the Mountain Labyrinth where more than 10 gens are needed and the spots, where they can be placed a very narrow. Traffers advice - good as it may be - are useless for that adventure and others with the same design: many gens/narrow spots to place camps. PLEASE fix that issue soon. It has been known for month WHY HAVEN'T YOU FIXED IT YET???????????????????????????

Beyond meaningful criticism really, it's almost funny......almost.

You can kind of simplify this by understanding that a gen that returns from the garrison, or finishes transferring, or finishes troop loading, or finishes anything, really, gains focus. When a gen gains focus, it supersedes what you are doing with another gen. So if you are working with one gen, but another one steals the focus, it is going to switch to that other general. They *really* need to fix this, and it's egregious that they haven't yet. So in the meantime, handle one gen at a time, or in batches. Watch for gens returning to the garrison. It's not random like people say.
I find it helps a bit if you keep gens unloaded. If the context switches, you can't accidentally attack with an unloaded gen, at least.
fix the server time init, sick of having to reload game and that is so slow, move of game to do something else go back to game and booted server init fail, not like this is a fast pace game and you need to watch every minute, its SLOW, sends gens takes 15 mins so why the short time out?
