Produce 250 settlers
This one means you have to wait 62 hours settlers to "produce" themselves. Putting and/or producing bandits doesn't count. Don't forget to buy 3 love potions, this will help you finish in 31h.

Whenever I get quests that requires me to not loose more than a set number of a specific troop type I do that adventure using none of the specified troop at all. When it says do not loose recruits only use militia. Never had a problem.
Incase it helps get to the bottom of the problem, here are my losses for under 500R in Outlaws in four winds. It successfully completed for me:
365 recruits
101 bowmen
107 militia
73 soldiers
(+1 wounded general)
Not exactly. It was mostly based on Tage's guide: http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/t...l=1#post193188 but I used a combat sim to replace some of the fights in the West with Militia instead of recruits.
And that was with one BHG, 3 normals
If i complete Bandit Nest and recieve 700 Granite, have i completet the sub-quest of aquiering 600 Granite, or do i have to get a loot of exactly 600 granite???
Done 107 buffs. Only 52 done in quest. Nice site......
3600 iron swords for sub quest for lvl 26-34 not 360
3000 HWP and not 300 also
"own 500 longbowmen"
For me, this alone is reason enough to skip this questchain. I'm not capping my army/population limit with useless [ Censored ]
Please be careful with the words you use,

Hi all, having problems with getting buffed '50 buildings with fish platters', if anyone is willing to help out add me. Would really appreciate any help! Thanks.
thanx for your reply, appreciated and mission accomplished.
also, while i here, another quick question.....
if i cancel any parts of the 4 winds sub-quests, will i be able to continue with the 4 winds main quest chain still ?
*wanders off to start begging for 50 sandwich buffs* ;)
ooo they know...trust.! hrhrhrrr
it is an attempt (imho) to drain every1's resources so that more will spend cash on gems when easter event arrives :p
i bet there will be a promotional "happy hour" on gems on or around the date easter event starts ! ;)
I'm just saying this for you to understand fact : NOBODY reads a wall of text that starts like that except those who share the same fire. But it's nothing new for them. So try to be brief and to the point.
9. buy 500 coins + have 360 militia
have 360 militia ? :(
Whilst I understand the ratios etc, at level 36, to have to do Outlaws, then next quest is eagles nest, (which btw You have to buy, it's not given to you) I think is unfair. First they should supply the adventure, and they should do something in between, and not run two adventures back to back, not very considerate.
Can we have a definitive date on the expiry of this quest? Don't want to waste materials if its not feasible to do in the long run.
It ends 2 weeks after it started. For levels 36 and above to complete it in that time will require much luck and huge amount of resources and time. If you've not started yet or only done a little, forget it. Wait for the Easter event, which at least looks achievable without relying on luck.
My girlfriend is 0/3 on Bandit nest. Now building up army to play the last Bandit nest she can afford. 800 map fragments down the drain.
(B.t.w. anyone noticed the steep price raise of bandit nest on trade office. Vultures!)
update: last one also no luck, so 0/4 and the end of four winds....
@ Webmaster
Can u remove all the complaining threads plz ??
Took me about half hour to get to page 18 without reading anything interesting of helpfull.
I got exotic pl from bandits nest, so its unlikely I can do this now, yeah the price of certain adventures and map frags have gone through the roof. The requirements should of been to just complete the adventure. Luck shouldnt play no part in this sort of contest!
The most unfortunate thing about this quest chain is how it affects the economy. Doing the quest line would be difficult but not impossible if the adventures were some of the more common ones. Instead, you have to do follow-up or map fragment-only adventures which are fairly rare. So of course the price shoots through the roof.
Either the economy on other servers is completely different from ours, or BB have utterly miscalculated with this quest line.
I finished it 6 hours ago and i liked it.

So the "general discussion" of this event is for discussion of the event, but only if you want to say something good about it? That's pretty silly.
Hello!
No ones post will be erased unless it breaks the forum code of conduct.

NB Chance of granite from Old Friends is 75% (37.5% in two different slots). Which makes it a slightly more realistic task...
Here's my feedback :
- The quest chain looks the same as other quests in your Quest Log.
- There is a time limit of two weeks to complete it.
- The only in game notification of this time limit is in the change log.
This is what will happen :
- Quest vanishes from customers Quest Log on the 14th of March.
- Customer files a support ticket saying that the quest has vanished.
- Support respond saying there was a time limit to complete it visible in the change log.
- Customer responds saying there was no time limit in my Quest Log.
- Support respond saying customer was made aware, there is no issue.
- Customer feels a little bit stupid and a little bit cheated.
Here's how to easily resolve it before it happens :
- Add a timer to the Quest Log in the next maintenance update.
- Start the timer at 2 weeks.
Everyone who is complaining it's too hard and it's going to expire too quickly gets an extra week and you avoid annoying your customers by giving them a clear in game notification of the time to the quest being removed so they don't start it if they don't like the idea of a time limit.
Too difficult..? I think not.
Having been attempting these quests (level 45-50 tier) for the last few days, i've found the hardest one was actually the first one. Waiting 2 days to repeat a chance quest with a time limit that is ticking away while friends and guild members are trying to rush through them and not wait for anyone falling behind isn't the way online games are supposed to be.
Some expectations are a little too high, like waiting for 250 settlers to be produced (60h), 170 titanium bars to smelt (25h while buffed at level 1) etc.
I'd enjoy it much more if there were more little quests, even for buildings that people don't run often. As for adventure quests, limiting certain troops is more challenging than a luck based reward that might not even happen after doing all the adventures you are able to.
Positives from these quest chains are more trading, and more people doing adventures. People with a lot of resources are able to sell for a reasonable price again.
Haha yeah math-teacher wont be happy.
There are 2 slots for granite. The chance a slot gives granite is 12.5 + 25 = 37.5% But with 2 chances, you cant add it up.
The chance you find granite:
* granite in 1, granite in 2 -> 0.375 * 0.375 = 14 %
* granite in 1, no granite in 2 -> 0.375 * 0.625 = 23%
* no granite in 1, granit in 2 -> 0.375 * 0.625= 23%
added up: the chance at least 1 slot gives granite = 60%
Other way to calculate: Its 1 - change(no granite) = 1 - 0.625^2 = 61% (difference due to rounding)
37,5% is 3/8, so in the other way it's 39/64 chance for granite (60,9375%).
:P
>Find 600 Granite from 'Bandits Nest' loot - chance of granite from adventure is 33%, total average losses = 900R, 198S, 300C
not counting, that in first day, none ov my 3 explorerrs brought home granite, so that was 1 day wasted already... so im not so sure its physically doable, even if we spend gems like crazy...
Plus i dont own the Bandit nest adventure so need first find it...
Yes the bandit nest quest is nasty :s I noticed something interesting though, BB_Dantesama's maintainance post states "-(Will keep you updated regarding the crisis quest)" which for some reason wasn't copied onto the front page news.
I'm wondering if it will be giving us more time, or perhaps a change to some of the quests.. I'm wondering if I should hold off completing my second bandit adventure until we get more news on that.
Edit: I just realised it's a 2 day adventure, so there's not much point in waiting :p
first go at bandits nest - no granite returned and the delightful jumping general bug ruined the end of the adventure.

following killste's guide - my 50cav general got intercepted by the camp you block, my veteran made it to the leader camp before the 50 cav got to the "blocked" camp it was intercepted by. my veteran (and the troops got killed), leaving ~16-17 rangers (Appears in my mail first), my blocking general killed the camp it was blocking (appears in mail after vet attack - it is a 3 minute block), and finally my 50 cav (once released from intercepted camp after its destroyed) goes to kill the remaining rangers.
If I'd sent my generals in the wrong order my veteran would have been intercepted and instead my vet made it into the camp before I could consider recalling as it jumped 3-4 times into the leader camp before my cav made it to the camp they were intercepted in so failed to recall either.
not impressed....
my friend has done bandits nest 4 times and not hit granite... it needs to be complete adventure <bandits nest or whatever> and get granite OR complete the adventure 2x's.
In theory the game can stop you completing the 36-45 quest chain (Four winds) from the very first quest, if you're incredibly unlucky and don't get granite from the long treasure hunts at all... doing quests by chance/luck is unfair... this means that some people have absolutely no chance of completing this event quest no matter the time/resources available to spend...
