Still I have same annoying error at my desktop computer. I am done;
-Delete Flash data
-Delete browser data (using Chrome but game also dont work on Firefox.)
-ipconfig /flushdns
-Restart both computer/modem
-Game website added to firewall (nod32)
I can play game in same network on my newbook (10.1" monitor :S) and on my parents laptop.
Last thing I will delete Adobe Flash fully then install again.
Does someone have any idea???
Edit: I get this screen after Blue Byte and Settlers Online Loading Screen and Tip Of The Day message. http://prntscr.com/6h90l1 and after this (sometimes) http://prntscr.com/6h959k and after I got a blue sea color screen.
I tried uninstalling chrome, flash for firefox etc and got nowhere. Then I realised on every computer/laptop I have I've installed ESET Internet Security. Uninstalled that on one of the computers and instant result. Uninstalled it on all the other computers and they instantly started connecting again.
Installed latest version of ESET internet security and now everything's back to normal.
So my recommendation is to completely uninstall your internet security software, see if it works without it then if it does install the latest version again.
Playing from Manila Philippines the past couple days, through hotel wifi - have had no problems (although it's a bit slower than I'm used to). Same PC I always use. My wife and I had a lot of weird flash problems while playing a co-op but we've seen those in NZ also.
I had map loading issue from weeks, now server always failing, I hope you planning some compensation, and what about the competitions to log in every daz for 3-6-12 months?

I cannot connect and have been having problems since yesterday afternoon. I press the Play Now button and it tries to open but I then get a blue screen saying connection issues and that my connection to the server has been lost. Have emailed Support but I don't even think it is going through as I don't get an automatic response email saying they are pursuing my enquiry. I have cleared my cache and tried Firefox and Explorer but still same message. I usually use Chrome. Does anyone have any ideas please?

I see you already cleared the cache, but please make sure you cleared all of it and not just the cache created in the last hour(s)
Maybe you are having the same issue as the player in this post and reinstalling your internet security software will help you too.
In some cases this can point to DNS issues, unfortunately this can't always be solved immediately, but assuming your internet provider already has the correct DNS records, you can try the steps listed in this post

Any other suggestions please would be greatly appreciated. His has been going on a month. I want to do the Easter event and I can't!

Ok great news. I am logged in. Just thought I would let you know what I did in case it helps someone. Cleaned cache, did config /flushdns, did a system restore, scanned the anti virus for bugs and finally installed and then reinstalled my antivirus reinstalled. Also installed my flash even though chrome does it automatically and it finally worked. No more blue screen and connection issues. Thanks for all the advice given over all these pages :)
This is the second time for me. I lost connection mid game on the 15th and could not log back in all day, was able to log in 16th, 17th and 18th without too many issues, just a while to load but today, 19th logged on this morning ok but unable to log back on this afternoon. Very annoying and frustrating as had the free premium going and an adventure planned, now wasted. Have contacted support but know it will be a while before they get back in touch.
Lastnight after 2 hours of trying i managed to login at home. So after 13 hours i was back in!! This morning same problem. Can't log in...
Not bad today, it took "just" 3 hours before i was in...

I was on the game and a pop-up showed Connection closed for maintanence. Can not get back in.
tried and failed for over an hour, time for work so missed explorer send outs (not that they bring much back now) and prem wasting away.
So frustrating. Because of my timezine, all maintainence appears to happen in my evening, when I want ot play the game this week - Tuesday evening and Wednesday; last night starts well, and then serious lag, couldn't load generals, move islands or between island and adventure etc etc. Logged out and couldn't get back in, just stuck on the loading page. This morning, same issue - stuck on the loading map page. Am I the only one?
Yesterday 25/mar/2015 it took me over 12 hours to log in started at 9:00 am and hardly logged in at 11:35 pm it was not my browser or internet speed (8 mb/s)
i missed 12 hours for 3 explorers and when i logged ..no (guild / trade / help or global tabs exist)
Husband and both still having trouble loggin in through Chrome, but seem to be doing okay with IE. Is there something we need to change?
This morning I entered the game and sent some armies on an adventure. Now, 2 hours later, I have 7 failed attempts to login and go battle. The message is "Error. Sorry, an error occured. Please refresh the page and try again. <OKAY>" and reappears after the refresh and the new try. What is this?
We are currently experiencing some login issues.
Our technicians have have been alerted and are now working on fixing the problem.
The issues don't appear to be constant so you should manage to connect eventually.
Uninstalling my virus scanner (Eset Nod32) solved the connection issues for me. So it's worth a shot if you still have problems.
