another two hours....15.00.....
or tomorrow...or April Fools day, with us being the fools for believing anything ( when we are actually tolds anything that is! )
why nothing here from bb about new finish time?
Following up and agreeing with Dutch Duty .....What a surprise, unscheduled maintenance then a fix for it then scheduled maintenance then extended maintenance.... Was able to log on Sat morning and then Monday's scheduled maintenance started unscheduled early.. , then not Sunday, only 30 mins Mon than maintenance, and not today..all of my buffs mines and fields were depleted because I couldn't get on to do, my log in count dropped back to 0 days - I was at 6 sat night - so lost the 100 gems as well, got to love BB's updating and maintenance skills....
Hey folks! So as some of you are quick to realise, we're having to extend the downtime by another two hours; the new approx conclusion is at 15:00 GMT. I can confirm however that we're preparing a gift package to thank you all for your infinite patience and understanding. More on this when the servers are back up and running!
If you run an old car without proper servicing it is more likely to break down. If your taken by surprise when it does, the blame lies firmly with you if you can't get to your destination...not with the recovery service.
You'd have thought that they'd had known a little before 13:02 that they weren't going to make it by 13:00. Just two words on whats going on and being a bit ahead of the curve with whether they'll make their ETA or not, and we'd be a happy bunch. (Well, at least a lot happier.)
Sunday was no maintenance but a crash.
The reason you at a certain point got the maint. page is and was simply cause BB doesnt have a "Sorry we messed up_ we are working as hard as possible to get everything back up" page availeble ;)

Agreed, a gift package is nice, but I do hope we will be taken serious for once, and will get a explanation of what happend, honestly I cant see why that wouldnt be possible, as it would help us to appreciate what work you guys did to fix it...Quote:

That achievement is for "365 non-consecutive days" and so the counter will not be reset to zero as a result of not being able to log in.Quote:

Abradoodle, BB allready promised a compensation package.
And only the unplanned outage on Sunday cost you a day premium, monday's and todays maintenances are scheduled maintenances wich means premium and adventure time are paused during the maintenance.
game went down around 5 to 6AM sunday morning GMT. was not maint. something broke that took out just about all BB and ubisoft games and websites not just TSO. Staff had to use facebook and twitter as they couldnt get onto the homepage or the forums to give updates.
For several hrs i couldnt even get the homepage to load (Server unavailable) tried the forum same thing. tried BB website and ubisoft website. All down. so went to their facebook page and saw they were giving updates through that. Now and then i got into the forums but that still wasnt working right. got a lot of database error msgs so had to keep reloading.
Saqui did post on facebook a gift package will be sorted out once they asseded the problem and got things working again. Not sure about others on facebook but he/she replied to my post,s on there.
Like most were doing i kept trying to login. but as soon as Saqui posted (22.00hrs sunday night) the game would be down till after mondays scheduled update was done i stopped trying. Didnt stop some from keep asking when the game would be back though. Guess they were to busy moaning and complaining to read the posts. Some were demanding compo even after it was stated a compo package will be given once they knew what the problem was and how long it would take to fix.
So if something like this happens again just go to their twitter or facebook page and read the posts not just start complaining without reading the updates 1st.
Cliff maybe this may sound strange to you...but a lot of people dont use either twitter or Facebook.
I like many do not use twitter or facebook so updates on there are useless to me
Hmm maybe I should have said, smart people dont use twitter and Facebook. As both are spying on on their users and abuse the knowledge they get that way to sell to you to the highest bidder :)

I eventually (and rarely) signed in to twitter...but it took more than 6 hours for BB to say anything on there about the outage. But I agree not everyone has an account on a social media platform. TBH if even BB cant reach the forum or their own homepage then I am not sure what they can do. What I find more annoying is the lack of information, no reason given as to why this happens, no timely updates once they were possible...telling us at 15.02 that the maintenance is prolonged is......words fail me.
