"Simple" if you are used to work with these things. Backup all your stuff, format disk, install new 64-bit system. You need to have 64-bit CPU. I think you cannot go from 32 to 64 other then clean install. Somebody will correct me if I am wrong.

Correct, you need to do a clean install of a new Win10, though can use same license you already had, if I understood the instruction correctly.

I'm not very good with this technical stuff, but i miss playing the game.
My main problem seems to be that there is no map called client when i dowload.
when i try to open the game it says: this app can not be exicuted on your pc, ask if there is a suitable softwere for your system.

I never saw Hades post but whoever came up with the fix should be put in charge of Ubisofts tech team :D The swf is erased every time I try the download. But I put the download file into the folder as directed and after a few false starts the game started.... So they need to look at which files are being copied successfully.
I hope theyre going to send out a massive package of goodies to recompense for missed gameplay days AND the inconvenience this nonsense has caused

Unless they revert the „client”, Windows users that can't log in now will probably have to wait along with Mac users till next year for the new client,
as for the rest (my linux box included), they can dream of getting any compensation when Unity version goes live, assuming it actually exists, is going to go live, and work…

Two, three, maybe four or even more weeks until they've a client for MacOS ready for us. No xmas event then, but all mines have run empty together with lot of other resources. Well, this will kill my interest TSO.
The new troubleshooting guide is unhelpful.
I start from Steam.
On the homepage I follow the "troubleshooting post" link.
There, I click on the "Download this file" link. it does nothing.
I try right clicking. It does nothing.
That's because, at that point, I am not in a browser. I am in YOUR OWN INTERFACE.

Having the same problem. Ihave 64bit and windows 10. Says Your Client can not be updated. (chrome)
Follow the instructions in the trouble shooting guide - specifically on manually creating the Client folder and copying the client.swf file. Thats what worked for me to fix the "can't update" issue
hi the client just starts to kickin so i shrink the browser then enlarge the client then i get this message the client has stopped responding so i shut it down redo it an get the same message i use windows10 pro 64bit os an a 2gig graphics card
In short: Don't.
The client loads very slowly and several times windows may say it's not responding. This is normal. Do not close or stop it. Let it load to finish. It hasn't much to do with your computer, it's just slow. I got a powerful gaming computer and it takes 10 minutes to load up sometimes.
Do not touch the client, resize it or anything before it loads. Just let i load up undisturbed.
Hi, i still can't get in the game, after getting a windows 7 x64 Pro pc while it doin't work on my none windows pc the client i still get a error message.
It's missing api-ms-win-core-localization-l1-2-0.dll now.

have you tested with edge chromium browser on windows 10 x64
it almost always work with new stuff
and maby an sfc /scannow in elevated cmd to see if system is corrupt

I read it and followed all steps several times. And surprise...
... it still NOT working on my PC - Win 7 Pro 64 bit and Firefox 84.0.1 64 bit... with all recommended shits installed...
It starts to load the client but after several seconds it says "connection issue..."
No antivirus or firewall is blocking it. The internet connection is good and stable...
I can start the client only from my company PC in the office which is equipped with same Windows and browser. So it works on some systems and it does not work on others.
I posted several times and nobody can answer. Or nobody cares...
it sounds like it is a local issue.
try a different browser. or even, try and go on test server and see if that one works to start.
also try any browser in safe mode/incognito (also as suggested)
Perhaps helpful stuff if you have hardware that can run the 64-bit client..... ONLY!

So please do enlighten us all - WHEN will the 32-bit client, and MAC client and Linux client all arrive? "Early" January seems to have come and gone already.
We want the rest of our guild back, and that all relies on whatever BB are currently doing to address their Win 64-bit ONLY oversight!
Perhaps you can also enlighten us on how the players who are currently locked out of the game will have their paid active premium time, active PFB time, collapsed industrial mines, and missed "free" event booty all addressed too please?
Please share what's going on and stop leaving us in the dark!

I am fighting with this installation since December. Yesterday I tried to install everything on clear PC. Now the client requires Adobe Air - Why?
I downloaded the new client.swf and recorded it and client.exe files in Client directory - no success.
I am on Win 7 Pro 64 bit with Firefox 84.0.2 64 bit with all required updates and shits installed... I tried with Chrome but the results is the same.
Before reinstalling the problem was "Connection issue".
Several times I posted about the problems I am facing but nobody answers. It seems that the moderators/support guys/whoever is responsible do not care.
I am wondering how many players have given up the game...
I am tired of fighting...

We are continuing to improve the Adobe Air client and have a new version for you which potentially fixes update issues. In order to spare you a downtime during the event, you can already download the newer version here (64-bit systems) and here (32-bit systems).
Please check our homepage for more details, and don't forget to uninstall the old version before installing the new one.

a) Is the 'update issue' you mention the problem you get when starting the game when a white window pops up telling us 'Cannot Update Client' ?
b) From the file size of what is linked that looks like the same install package we previously used. This package first ran an uninstall and then a new install. In view of your final comment is there something else that we should be uninstalling ?
c) I assume that we should make sure we do not have the old client open when we try to run the new package.
