Once again: been trying to load the game for an hour now. Is this going to be a daily occurrence?
Follow-up: It's been 2 hours now, the game still won't load...
Just got in, finally. Is 2 hours the new standard now? If this keeps happening I'll consider quitting altogether!

Hi, ever since the Valentine event ended things has gone to hell with the lag, every few minutes I am stuck frozen on a build/buy/collect/explorer send/geologist prospect/quest completion dialougue or worse - getting stuck during a general attack queue - which means trying to send a block attack is a joke :( troops and my time online get pissed despite myself trying again and again to remain connected.
I am located in southeast asia, playing on a 5mbps dsl connection using Chrome with Flash updated to the latest version.
It's gotten worse the past couple of days, now the server will randomly lose connection and you have to reload - and what is with the insane reload time - and the insane size of the base Flash package? - takes like 15 minutes with my 5mbps dsl connection - why cant the base flash package be cached even instead of needing to be re-downloaded again and again - and with the random disconnecting going on at the moment you can imagine how mad this makes player.
Yes I did get the download version of the game and on launch it shoots an error saying Flash and Chrome isn't detected.... despite both being the latest version
I have been playing for years and spent hundreds of dollars at the store, I just cant say how dissapointed I am with the state of the game at the moment.

After today's hotfix, lag seems to have been fixed and returned to normal (before valentine's event), at least for me. I've been playing for an hour consecutive, no freezing, no lags.

Stuck here for more than an hour now. Was fine yesterday.
Lots of lag during Easter Event on login into game server. Game stops dead at 40% loading bar with very low cpu use for flash process. Task manager needs to end the flash plugin process and the flash needs to get restarted. Then, there is a chance the game finally loads up.
During events game keeps freezing when returning to main island after finishing an adventure.
Using steam version of game. Freeze lasts 2-6 seconds before i can load new gens for next adventure.
This happens after i have done 1-2 adventures in a row (hb, so 20-30 mins gametime), and no other way to refresh then to exit and start again wich takes a loong time with the steam version.
Might be time to consider discarding flash as a platform for something that actually gets developed nowdays?
Freezing is getting pretty bad...game freezes for 25-30 seconds every 3 or 4 minutes. Starts after 10 minutes of game play and gets worse.
FYI all cache cleaned on boot via CCleaner.
It's better to clean the cache manually. Please try the troubleshooting steps described in this Guide.Quote:

Got many freeze since a few days...
Once again, something have been change, and we are not aware of it.
It's worse since the fix. More freezes than before, I have to kill/restart flash after every adventure.
Sending generals to adventure is a pain, when you send a lot of them like me. Scrolling and checking them and when almost done, bang the window clears itself. Every event on island( a mine finishing, something produced in provision, etc) clears the "send army" window. Also for 2 days i have battles that never end in adventures. The only way to see them ended is to switch to the main island and back. Yesterday I buffed 2 people, I saw the buffs working( i always wait to make sure) and after a while they told me i forgot to buff. they were right, the buildings were not buffed and the buffs were in my star( not sure about all buffs, but for rg i'm very sure, i know how many i have).
Lag freezing the hammer man are back, plus buffing is a trauma have to do them a few times before they stick, and explorers take a couple of times before they finally go.
I have cleared cache and it didn't work tried a few things and nothing helps, game is unplayable like this were every action takes about 5 seconds before anything happens. :(
The can't load generals, egg timer on pathfinder, Lag, hammer man, freezing, friends buff not working properly are back with a vengeance.
have had to refresh clean cache after every function this morning, but the pathfinder still has the egg timer even after a refresh :(
Hi Please can someone help me. Been playing the game for many years but since Easter have been unable to load on my windows laptop. loading bar gets to half way and the nothing. I can load the game using puffin on my ipad but this method of play is no fun. Any advice would be grateful as I have been unable to find a fix or any advice that works.
I think usual suspects are:
clear cache for browser and flash
try different browser
update windows, flash and browser
What the heck has happened to the game, generals won't load, egg timer in trade office and mail box, chat keep vanishing ( so much for doing co-op and multiplayer adventures when you cannot chat to anyone) freezing every minute or so so bad sometimes you have to refresh. :( Surely they know how to fix these things by now, or is it suiting their purpose to slow us right down during an event in the hopes we will buy gems.
People are talking in general chat about it but nobody is putting the complaints in the forum, wonder why ?

New issues that I've encountered since the big maintenance:
"Uplay is not available right now. Please wait a few minutes and try again." - Have had this all day.
"Session timed out". - Every couple of hours
Not able to open mail unless I refresh the client.
Not able to go to friend's island or to adventure unless I refresh the client.

anyone else getting the client seeming to be working can see ppl chatting but a map wont load or actions you take dont happen any form of work around as i am having to reload the client a lot which takes a while to let me reload because of that pop up box we get
