Well, I don't blame BB, I wish the best wishes for them, its must so hard day for them, they have families and will stay late in work to do things right for player.
I can understand the issue here because I'm a developer.
But I know too any company want the sanctification for their clients, so I hope after all of this messy staff, that we will get something make us smile again :)

If settlers were to stay down for 24hrs I may get some order back into my life. Mind you I should bear in mind that you should never do today what you can put off till tomorrow.
I have friends - slow playing....very slow playing...they have 5-6 hours of window to enter the game, and today this window has gone........what about their efforts of keeping guild quests, and week bonuses of 100 gems?......they will not log in today - and they are missing everything.......I think - the right answer will be 100 gems and 100 guild coins for all players.......
