This would be welcomed improvement if confirmed no bug.
Would have to take a change from pop building to storage building for it not to be a bug, I see no decrease in pop max and no increase in storage which would indicate a intended change.
Its footprint has increased too. It used to be 2x2. When moving it (to make better use of its function as a storehouse), it now requires 3x2 (like a watermill or friary). After moving it away from its original 2x2 spot, it cannot be moved back to that spot anymore.
excuse what might be a stupid question, but I have no idea what the Settlers Headquarters is. Is it called something else? Is this the guild house (the only building I have never built) or something new I'm missing?
Ok - thanks, if it's not in the current game then I'm not concerned. Thanks
something old youre missing 20 pop i think no upgrade

20 pop building, nothing special
Please no-one go with this as a "good idea" based on this post, it looks too much like a bug. Far safer to assume it is a mistake than to guess 'intended' and be wrong.
That said, currently the Settlers Headquarters can also hold a sector.

NB Rebuilt the actual "Island Storehouse" I'd just knocked down to check immediately after getting the pic, this is a bit too hinky to trust outright.
Any chance you'd not moved in a very long time? I have this half buried memory of "change in footprint" coming up long, long ago.
For the curious, the building came from the same event that gave us *cough* Balloons. Something still spoken of in "Oh my aching wrist!" terms (among others) to this day. [Dev Diary] Settler Anniversary
