Maybe I am wrong but I hear the Eplorer say when leaving :"Dummer Spinner"which
means in German something like "Stupid Fool"or something like that haha.
Lucky for me I cant make out what the Geologist is babbling:D
Just my observations.

I think they're just garble like simlish in the Sims i.e. designed to sound like real words while being meaningless. Lots of people interpret many different things they might be saying when they listen.
I thought they were saying "too much stand around" .... LOL!!
it's almost like those parodies of songs ... or "misheard lyrics" .... hehe
Pretty sure I hear the geologist say
"Okay, Well I should be long"..:-)
No no, you are all wrong! The explorer says: "You must been'around!" Meaning he likes to get around, see the world, you know. LOL :)
i think the geologist says "ok wella beya" - could be taken for "okay well i'll be off "
I always hear: "you must been alarmed" (sounds like chrisrock250's "you must been'around') and my 18month boy starts laughing everytime he hears it!
Oh? I just thought he said, "Gosh darn it, I was just tucking into a dohnut! Stupid King."
I recon the explorer says "You must spin a lot..." ;)
BB??
To me, breaking it down, it sounds like " Do-Mus Ven-a-ra " and then a laugh.
Google translate says that " Domus Venera " is " I come home " in Latin and of course pronunciation of the two things are probably nothing alike but... Maybe he's telling us not to worry and that he'll come home eventually.
well i would say that he is talking creole...saying:" ok...mo pe alle check li la " meaning "i am going to check it now"
