Shrub removal trick

Here is a neat trick for removing shrubs that obstruct buildings. You will need a decorative object, such as a broken handcart or crates. Simply lay the foundation of your decoration to the North or South of the shrub you wish to eradicate. If possible, the shrub will disappear. Subsequently demolish the decorative object and build on the newly acquired plot of land :)

1. Observe the shrub in the centre of the pathway

well when u remove it and won't place anything on that location, the shrub will respawn ;)))

Yes, if you leave the space empty, the shrub will reappear when your browser is refreshed. But if you constuct something on top, the shrub will disapear permanently.

I don't know if someone else has discovered this but that "crates" trick don't work with some shrubs, especially when there is no space above the shrub to build the "crates". However, the same trick works with blue flower beds when built *below* the shrub ! Feedback appreciated !

It looks like they "fixed" this. :( Accidentally deleted a field built on top of a shrub and now it won't go away again no matter what.

Still works - did it 2 days ago to clear a shrub near the iron mines in s5

I am having an issue with some of them, I used to have a well placed down, when I removed it, I can't get that space back again to use

the best way to do this trick is to use a flowerbed. and the move tool. click on a flowerbed and move tool it will give u green stripped areas to place it. now just put it on top of the shrub. make sure the flowerbed itself is on top of the shrub and not the bounding boxes. then use the move tool again to move it off.

voila.

I discovered a bush when trying to replace a farm with an improved farm.

Specifically removed this spring. We had that free moving week and everything. Ever move a building away from a trick spot can't get them back.

this already fixed in March I think not remember.
