I did, but I thought it maybe was a common error, the peeps here had knowledge of
it works for me on windows 7 64bit :)
Works fine for me also!
yea turned out that it didnt work on win XP either
not on IE 8 not on newest firefox not on chrome, so I took over my wifes computer and it didnt work there either. so I contacted support
they told me to reset my router, so I did but that didnt work either
then I thought...hey my router is old and annoying, so I bought a new one, but that didnt work either lol
It currently only work at work running on my winXP using chrome, but I dont think its a good idea playing settlers at work :)
Yes this game does not work on the newest Firefox (version 15). It works on my Chrome. In Explorer 9 it works but the marble mine symbols are far away from the mine itself and also other broblems with Explorer9. I have Window 7, 64 bit. The problem with this game is that this game is not developped anymore. So I have heared from trusted sources that this game will not be developped anymore so do not spend any money into this game.
I had a problem accessing the game few days ago, but it wasn`t only the game that I couldn`t access, many other pages also, no browser would`ve linked me to them.
After few hours of search I found an idea on web that it was related to some uninstalled Windows updates. Had some kb uninstalled file and a sound related one. Installing them gave me another headache with the sound (not working at first but made it in the end) just I was finally able to access game and the other webpages.
Bottom line, install your windows updates.
i use win 7 64 and works fine for me
This is also symptomatic of a busted Windoze update, where it downloads some flakey graphics card drivers.
The solution is a bit involved, but the best thing to do is go to NVidia or ATI's websites, and download their latest drivers for your graphics cards, once you have installed them, reinstall DirectX over the top of the old one, don't try to play before you've done this, or the same corruption will occur.
Personally, I now avoid this situation by changing my Windoze update preferences, so that drivers like this are now 'optional', although this isn't recommended to novices, but if you are fairly competent with the comp, you'll know what is and isn't necessary.
weird problem o.O I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit on my own pc and I use Chrome as my browser. Its working on xp at my schools computer.
