Hello,
I wanted to switch the connection through FB of TSO to Uplay service (big mistake). It seems that this migration service doesn't work and i cannot go back through connecting with FB. I talked to somebody (Pawel) but i didn't received an exact answer when it is going to be fixed.
Sorry if i posted this wrong...also thanks for an answer.
Changing a FB account to Uplay
To separate a game account on Facebook just follow these steps:
- Connect to Facebook
- Go to "Account" - "Privacy Settings" - "Applications and websites" - "Change your settings"
- Remove the 'The Settlers Online ".
After that you will receive an email with a link. By following this link, you will be able to separate your game account from Facebook and convert it into a normal account.
Thanks for info but i already did that...that is the problem...after changing the password on the uplay link account webpage i cannot write the new password...it doesn't work...
sorry mod daz but thats what NOT to do. i am also locked out with doing this, as is fangy who has had a reply from support saying they cannot fix this prob!!!!!!

A WEEK!!! only since fri/sat for me and thats bad enough, spent good money on that account too...this stinks
That's sad :( ...i'm also upset that i'm losing a lot of xp that i've could have done in this time...i tried searching on web about this issue but nothing exists...i thought i was the only one until Fangy and you :)
have now had a reply from support saying the fault is on thier side and dont know how long its going to take to resolve. well personally i have lost all interest now and am gonna persue getting my all my money back spent on this account . what a sham.
they still did not fix the problem, my friend has the same problem and can 't play for a week now. I don't think they will ever fix it ..
Tat is atrocious, but I've had nothing but problems with farce-book anyway. its a joke site, isn't it?

The team is aware of this issue and is currently working on a potential fix.
Unfortunately, this is a complicated bug for different reasons.
There is a similar topic here as well.
I will let you know as soon as I have an update on this.
