Same here, cleared cache, relogged. Still isnt working.
Same thing for me, for no apparent reason no chats are working and all i see in my news is no chat server available.
come on BB sort it out :)

I logged in this morning and had same thing. Thought i had been banned
me to, tried IE and firefox and on both there is just a constant...

It seems to me that it's a Sandycove problem only...
mines been doing it for a hour and a half at least
No trade! No trade! Without trade...... I am so dead!!!
come on BB people are paying money for this! including myself and we can do nothing! why do you insist on having the chat linked in with the trade tab, now none of us can do anything!
Awesome trying to do adventures with other players when you can't talk to them :/
Was going too buy some gems but think I'll just get a crate of beer instead! Real beer, not brew haha
And another thing.. Around the same time nobody in my friends tab showed as being online, despite the fact I had just been chatting with them seconds earlier!!
So to summarise.. No chat and no way to see if friends and guild members are online!! Apart from that, its a nice day haha.
BB, your thoughts please??
Because the chat server is down it can't pick up which people are online, therefore it will show them all as offlineQuote:

This response should have been posted almost two hours ago.
I would rather hear 'we are trying to fix it' than hear nothing.
Think of your paying customers and keep them informed.
Be transparent with your customer base rather than ignorant or secretive.
Letting people know what is happening early prevents negative feedback and keeps the trolls at bay.

In the mean time player mail and player to player trade still works (is a bit long winded having a conversation via mail) so if you need to talk to people or trade you can still do it via mail or using a IRC chat room as someone else suggested.
