But i hoped they announched such an maintenance, but they didnt !

they did say the end of the world maintenence ould be on monday but did not give us any times

This is starting to get very tiresome, the servers work for 2 or 3 days and then fail, I really think their tech services need to get a grip

They are having amaintenance as they wrote is serois maintenance and dont know how much exactly will continue.They are implementing many things not onlytheEnd ofthe world event,read another topic about it
Well at least US servers announced that it will take 1 hour so it's kind of question how "serious" it is. Frankly they really do need invest some time and effort on this maintenance length stuff. It takes way too long and happens way too often. Event with such excuse as "being Beta" (well IMO no one sells "Retail box" of beta game).
The note said a short maintenance, maybe they should be more clear

I play several on-line games, and I don't get anyway near the disruption that I get with this game, for instance maintenance takes place once a month not every week or twice a week in this case, and is usually flagged up well in advance
i like this game but it is getting to the stage that i cant play it ... i lose gold mines and adventures get online and have to spend hours rehbuilding mines wheatfields water restocking fish and meat and then it all happens again and again and again...
why bother?
well whatever it is, its another morning where I can't replenish my wells,wheatfields and mines. Some people have to work you know! . I'll come back tonight and everything will be empty as usual.
How long does it take to restart the server? Are we running on steam power?
oh please BB, been trying to log on for an hour now. Have to go to work now, so no rebuilding & production today + gonna lose some goldmines. Why can't you announce maintenance properly? Am really thinking about quitting this game...
I can't log in, but I am not to complain, I haven't paid to play the game.
However, with this kind of un-informed maintenance at (ir-)regular intervals won't convince me to start paying for the game for now.
They have said they will take servers down for a restart to activate events- if u bothered to read the messages in the announcement section
I've been playing for over half an hour already, but my friend told me she can't log in. I'm using Opera and when I close the browser it saves the last session and upon restarting it just throws me back in the login queue. That way I was able to log in I guess. Now I can't close the browser so I don't lose the session! Anyhow, just wanted to share that it's a neat way of login in when the actual log in doesn't work :)

it is not a simple restart my friend obviously !!
Same with other browsers, but if you are offline for too long you will not be logged in this way. You will only get stuck at login queue with 1 of 1 ppl waiting... I guess they reset some settings every now and then and if they do not mach with those stored in session you must relog.Quote:

yep this is ridiculous! The length of all these maitenance are like nothing i have seen. Seems like the devs have no idea how to properly run a game. Not that i do either, lol. But i dont sit here and call myself a developer, and from experience of playing other games. TSO has to be the worse maitenance times and lack of imformation that i have encountered by far. I wont be suprised if people start leaving because of these issues and the fact that they never seem to take notice of us players.
True, so when you open the browser again, leave that login queue window open, get another window, do the login as user (it normally let's you log in to the page even when the game is not available) and reload the login queue window or restart the browser after you're logged in the page and get the maintenance notice. It's not 100% but it seems to work pretty often.Quote:
