if it is correct then i cannot complete the first quest at all as it will take 10 days to find 50 eggs and in a 6 day quest how is that possible?

It's a 13 day quest
There are 3 main event quest (one every 6 day)
Buy some Savage Scouts or some Experienced Explorers first.
it will take 10 days if you only have 1 explorer.....maybe you have more than 1
It's 10 days with 2 regular explorers. Remember 'very long' is 2 days, so in 10 days a single regular explorer completes 5 iterations, netting 25 eggs.
Getting at least the 3rd regular explorer would certainly help, and by level 40 I'd kind of hope you already do.
As dorkan said above - you are assuming that you only have 1 explorer...
Yes, it would take 10 days for 1 normal explorer to find 50 eggs, but 12 hours for 10 'Fast' explorers!
you can have max 3 regular explorers and they can find 45 eggs in 6 days .... without fast explorer quest can't be done!!!!

There are 2 fast explorers available for eggs!
Once you've found those 50 eggs you need, you can use them to go towards buying one of the easter explorers :)

By this time, yes, you will have received the start of the next chain, which will be in your 'waiting' queue. You will be able to finish the first chain, and the second chain will activate. You're a smidge behind, but it's all still entirely doable, and your second chain might be one of the much easier ones.
are there different chains? I too have to find 50 eggs which will take 8 days with 3 reg explorers

I'm in much the same situation, i need to find 20 eggs through the medium treasure search, and from the table above I'm not holding my breathe...
I have been running 3 normal explorers on medium searches since the event began and have yet to find 1 egg let alone 20, so as I see it and if it is anything like my luck on other such events (4 winds) I might never find a single egg...making it imposable to finish this chain at all
Seems far to luck based to me

Yes the events just like most others are there for them to make money, they do this so you pretty much have to buy eggs to complete it.
What happens if you get this quest for the last quest, if I was going to have this, I would rather have it first than last, still time to do the other ones, but getting it last, impossible to do in 3 days, without ex explorers, would have to buy 5 savage scouts with gems, but this is what BB want you to do, 150 eggs lost, not happy:-(((

Do you happen to recall if the Eggs were in the same little window each time Viper9? Left or right I mean. As you say this has come up before and I'm wondering if that might have anything to do with it, * hypothesises* perhaps the game only recognises one window.
I am not sure I understand the question....the explorer found hard planks I think (left) and 3 egss on the right side of the planks

I have a sneaking suspicion it counts better when the required items are in Slot 1 but I'm not at all sure. Either way something's clearly off, if you haven't yet let Support know, after the standard "refresh/clear and cookies/relog". Counting to three shouldn't be quite so tricky.
I have not let support know. It can not count right (3) even after log out, refresh or things like that...this quest is painful
Aye, the Explorer ones do often try the patience. Still, they should *work*, if you send a ticket to Support they can probably help though it may be after the Easter weekend.
My current chain is bring back memory, before i started this my explorers were finding eggs every search, now i have to find 20 through medium treasure hunt, they are repeatedly coming back without the eggs, it's going to take ages and i can't log in twice a day to keep sending my explorer back out, bit of a pain if i'm honest as i want to complete all chains, other than that no real issues with the easter event.
I agree. My explorer is also not coming back from the medium treasure search with any eggs---and I am getting quite annoyed, especially since each search takes 12 hours to complete, which is ridiculous. This has left a very bad taste in my mouth, when it comes to this game, making a quest this difficult to complete by depending on random finds. This is no way to encourage players to remain.
easter event have 4 quest chain... random :( i get first 21.03.2013, second 27.03... third 02.04 ... and last 08.04... event end 11.04. if I take this chain last (50 eggs very long search) i have 3 days for complete the quest... impossible ;)
I will agree the medium search is very very bad. Asking us to get 20 eggs and the search is 12 hours long. This is the worst chain quest ever.
The 10 eggs short search (6hrs) is way better than this one. This is not possible to do given the amount of time left in the event.
I suggest you search the forum for the post from Dante where he explains, very clearly, what will happen if you have the search for eggs quest after the 11th.
Monday 08th - Last Chain Assigned
Tuesday 09th - No Change
Wednesday 10th - No Change
Thursday 11th - Explorers will no longer be able to find eggs, quest chains and waiting quests will remain (should you have the Explorer search quest "The Hint" check this thread for the fix)
Friday 12th - No Change
Saturday 13th - No Change
Sunday 14th - No Change
Monday 15th - No Change
Tuesday 16th - No Change
Wednesday 17th - No Change
Thursday 18th - All Easter Quests are removed even if still open, All Easter Merchant items removed, Event Complete

Would be good to know since those with the Medium Search 20 eggs quest folks can abandon their chain and do the one after it instead to ensure 100% completion of a chain. (earning an extra 10 eggs) instead of trying to complete the current one.
RonPope. The .net posts refer to the American servers. What peck_ed and BB_Dantesama says refers to the English servers. Please do not confuse the two.
