Recommend Resource’s Building LEVEL for Bookbinder

Currently book can not queue up in the bookbinder. I'm not very happy with that and would like to know why? This is related to recommendation because if u forget or do not able to manage to collect the book on time, then all calculation below is INCORECT

Why do you think BB don't want book can be queue up?
Can you able to mange to collect book without losing time? If yes, How?
Any possible solution to collect to book on time?

Recommended to upgrade bookbinder to level 5 as soon as possible
Level 3: 20hrs for Script -----24hrs for Tome ----- 28hrs for Codex
Level 4: 15hrs for Script ---- 18hrs for Tome ---- 21hrs for Codex
Level 5: 12hrs for Script ---- 14.4hrs for Tome---- 16.8hrs for Codex

There are 3 options for Recommendation:
Option 1: Production for fully upgrade jolly (RATIO 1:1:1)
Option 2: produce Codex only
Option3: produce Script only

Recommended Resource’s Building LEVEL for Bookbinder Level 3

Option 1: At level 1 without buff still make an excess
finesmith (level1), simple papermill (level 1),
lettersmith(level1), intermediate papermill(level1)
ornamentalsmith(level1), advance papermill(level1)
Option 2: At level 1 without buff still make an excess
finesmith (level1), simple papermill (level 1),
lettersmith(level1), intermediate papermill(level1)
ornamentalsmith(level1), advance papermill(level1)
Option 3: resource under (recommended level 2 with buff than upgrade). The following recommend level below for without buff
finesmith (level3), simple papermill (level 3),

Recommended Resource’s Building LEVEL for Bookbinder Level 5:

Option 1: this is the best option, with little excess accept nib, however do need some excess for glue buff
finesmith (level2), simple papermill (level 1),
lettersmith(level1), intermediate papermill(level1)
ornamentalsmith(level1), advance papermill(level1)
Option 2: resource slightly under requirement (recommended buff than upgrade). The following level below for without buff
finesmith (level2), simple papermill (level 2),
lettersmith(level1), intermediate paper-mill (level2)
ornamentalsmith(level2), advance paper-mill (level2)
Option 3: resource under (recommended level 3 with buff than upgrade). The following recommend level below for without buff
finesmith (level5), simple papermill (level 5),

Conclusion:
---level 5 bookbinder as soon as possible
---level 3 finesmith and simple papermill (with buff)
---level 1 lettersmith and intermediate paper-mill (with/without buff)
---level 1 ornamentalsmith and advance paper-mill (with buff to save resource)

Few player upgrade jolly step by step, therefore nib and simple paper will need a lot, however at some point you will need to make Tome and Codex therefore highly recommended buff rather than fully upgrade. Other resource is at level 1 is enough. fitting and a advance paper can be buff to save tit ore and exo-log but not necessary

1. These option is help for those who only want to produce enough for Bookbinder. WILL NOT apply if wanting to sell the resource
2. Script, Tome and Codex is currently not trade-able
3. Bookbinder glue will reduce book production time by half, recommend use it on level 5 bookbinder and have enough excess recourse to maximize the effect

Calculation:
Note: These Calculation base on the closest walking distance that you can get. If the building is further from storage, the production is less

Bookbinder Level 3:
20hrs for Script
24hrs for Tome
28hrs for Codex

20hrs then 20+24=44hrs then 20+24+28=72 (total 136hrs)
Script: 136-(20+20+20)=76hrs (is the hours waiting for the next script)
Tome: 136-(24+24)=88hrs (is the hours waiting for the next tome)
Codex: 136-28=108hrs (is the hours waiting for the next codex)

Option 1:

Total: 816 hrs ~ 34 days to complete 1 jolly (at level 5 bookbinder)

All of this was already mentioned weeks ago on the test server and BB have said they would adjust it. Now it takes around 4 times as long to produce resources and its still going to be worthless in a short time.

Even with future additions for the explorer and generals, these resources will be too abundant for everyone with a level 1 building.

Iam a bit confused.In test server book costs were raised 10% every 10 books you produced with a cap at 90%.does this still apply or costs are the same?

Yes, im aware of that, but the new resource is adjust in live sever. So they are not the same.

Nothing to confuse, if i calculate using the test server resource and time, u will make 5x excess of the resource

Anyone found out why books can't be queued?

Hi.. I've, maybe, found a problem with bookbinder. At level 3 for the Manuscript the bookbinder said that it would take 20h in order to finish. When you upgrade to level 4 it will reduce time of 33%. Now, mathematically 20h-33%=13.4h => 13h but the bookbinder say 15h. Why? O.o I didn't controlled the others books but i think that the problem it's the same.

These recommendations are wrong now that it has become clear that the cost of making books increases as you make more books. It doesn't matter whether you've applied them to your geo or not.

On the test server, this feature seemed to disappear, but it is back on the live servers.

So, as time goes on, you will need to upgrade your production buildings more and more to keep up with increased demand from the bookbinder.

I'm aware of the new update with increasing resource. I will update my calculation on the 01/08/2013
Mean while I still recommended level 1 or level 2 with buff bc the information i had for now is about double the resource required
