Economy Overview - Gold Production

Hi,

There seems to be a bug regarding the breakdown of the gold coin production.

For some reason it is showing that it uses up Wheat?

Gold Tower (new Epic building) produces coins from wheat

A Gold Tower can produce coins out of wheat :). This building has been available since 08/08/2013 under the epic buildings menu on the in-game shop merchant :).

It's there in case you are lvl 48+ and have a Gold Tower which converts wheat into gold coins.

whats the exchangerate for the gold tower: wheat into gold coins??

This bug seems still to remain. I do not own a gold tower. If you check the coinage it only needs gold and not any wheat.

It is possible to produce coins from wheat using a Gold Tower, therefore the economy overview needs to include that possibility.

If you read the previous answers, it is not a bug.
You do not need to own the gold tower for the whole of the coin production chain to show.This is the same for all production chains.
The coins icon in the tree is the production of coins not the coinage, you need to click on the coins to bring up the detailed view to see the break down of what buildings you have producing coins.

The gold tower was a prize given to all players if they completed an Event Calendar. So many got them at a low level at that time and even now may be lower than level 48. So it is a legitimate part of the gold chain and of course it does use wheat.

Anything which maintains consistency in the GUI is not a bug.

Bug, I don't have a Granite pit, but my production chain lists Granite repositories ... bug, I don't have an Exotic Wood Nursery but my production chain lists Exotic Wood ... bug, all my copper mines are depleted, but it shows Copper deposits ...

No, not bug.

I don't think the UI should be dynamic in that way. Since one can have a granite mine, then it should be shown on the summaries where appropriate. Since one might have a exotic tree farm, it should also be shown.
If for some reason I destroyed all my pinewood foresters, I would expect that tree planting would still be shown in the interface.
