Maximum buff the pumpkin field

This have been suggest but haven't seen it so I post it again

Small pumpkin field==== 45 pumpkin with 8 hrs production
----Put them to sleep, wait for 8hrs or more then use fish buff then put them back to sleep again. No matter if waiting more than 8hrs the next cycle wont start until u turn it on
----Because of small pumpkin cycle is 8hrs so recommended use fish buff then turn it on very 9hrs when u swap ur basket

Common(medium) pumpkin field=====75 pumpkin with 4hrs production
----Can do the same as Small pumpkin field but need to repeat every 4hrs otherwise take too long to complete ( recommended normal basket buff)

Noble(large) pumpkin field=====100 pumpkin 1 hrs production
----Can also do the same but need to do every 1hrs ( recommended normal basket buff)
----Exo buff can be use on Noble pumpkin field but not much of the profit but given longer hrs buff
----Current price of pumpkin is ~7gc (exo buff give extra 19 pumpkin = 133gc but exo basket cost more than 150gc) price is not the same in every sever this this the current price of sandycove

Note: 4x buff is not recomended for and pumpkin field

This has got to be the most insane and utterly pointless idea every posted in these forum's. Stopping and then restarting production if it works in the manner you suggest has NO effect whatsoever. In fact if it does work in the manner you suggest then it's a exploit.

no matter if u want to use it or not but it's work and i don't care if it is exploit or not

It works, it is not an exploit, as you should be allowed to put stuff on pause and not worry about exploiting just because you put stuff on pause. Nice post.

All production buildings work the way Duong_TonThat described Dorotheus, it's perfectly normal. Have a look at the responses here:pumpkin fields and here: sematary's bugged

I don't quite see how not leaving them running constantly is an exploit, more a buff optimization.

Exotic fruit basket triplicates the production, and lasts 12 hour. So it takes max. 24 extra pumpkin on noble sematary, but it depends on storehouse distance. Anyway, the extra will be even. (Ok, it does not meter, not a good business...)

never ever self buff Exotic fruit basket. Always ask friend to place exo buff, also with premium give an extra 10% buff that give up to 19.5hrs given addition 19 pumpkin compared to normal basket

Just because something has always worked in a particular way does not mean it's working as intended. Also just because you are exploiting the way something works does not mean that you are doing something the devs disapprove of. How ever one thing you should always be aware of is that the devs may fix it, which means what you are doing will no longer work.

In this case clicking onto a stopped sematary you see no progress indicator and the words stopped, if you had stopped it at 3 hours remaining you should not be surprised to see it still has 3 hours remaining when you resume production.

Dorotheus, this is neither insane or utterly pointless. You have been proven wrong with your over-the-top outburst and still will not apologise or concede. Your argument against pausing the fields is that the developers do not approve? How do you know? Why do they not approve? Why do you care? Y
ou just keep playing in the inefficient way that you currently are, and those of us "exploiting" the game will remain doing so.

Try to calculate again. If the pumpkin field is not extremely far from storehouse, then a 12 hour buff covers at least 11 turn, if added just before first turn end, then 12; if it gave by a friend, then add +50% time (total 18h), what means 17 or 18 turn, if there is premium at friend, then +10% time (total 19:12), so 18 or 19 turn, if distance bigger then 9 stepps, otherwise 19 or 20 turns.

If something triplicates, then its addition (or "extra") is 2, so the result is even. Possible extra (buff produced pumpkins, without basic production) is 22, 24, 34, 36, 38 or 40.

Aunt Irma's basket is lasting 6 hours, by friend 9 h, with premium 9:36; can cover 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 turns. For a given interval could be some different result, if you want compare the effect of two buffs.

Pumpkin's price is 7,5-12 gc (average 8,66) today morning in TO.

There is no progress indicator for population nowhere, and yet it grows. The "zzz" on paused buildings means only transportation to storehouse will not begin until unpause the building. In certain case the production time begins by unpause, otherwise the transportation. This works like this over more then on year, so if it were thought by devs to an exploitation, they have had enough time to fix it. Anyway, if stop a building when settler is on the way, he will not sleep on the road or in the storehouse, so I think it is a consistent behavior: the pausing point is the begining or ending point of production phase.

This is how it worked last year and no different last year. If it was a bug or exploit they had a year to fix it and didn't. In fact all work yards seem to work this way too - it's just that very few have production times so long that it becomes really noticeable. Hardly an exploit.

but you don't get extra pumpkin when buff the fields. you just collect the pumpkins faster. so all buffing is useless. on your field is written - 100 pumpkins, no matter if you collect them by 1,2,3 they are 100 and after depletion of the field you will have 100,not 300.

That's incorrect, buffing works on the fields in the same way as other workyards. It increases the number of resources gathered per tick, it does not increase the rate of depletion... If you buff your pumpkins with a fish platter as they are about to tick over you will get 2 pumpkins instead of 1 and the number in your field will drop by 1 not 2.
