I'd like to have more free slots in Trade office

I'd like to have more free slots in Trade office!!! At least three free slots.

It would be great if we could get 1 or 2 extra slots for trade by doing quests, instead of having to pay coins or gems each time.

Partial trades is another idea, if you are selling 50,000 water for example and someone wishes to buy 5,000 for 10% leaving the other 45,000 available to be bought.

Place 1 item for trade at 3 coins per lot x 4 lots and after the first has been sold you will have coins to purchase a second slot leaving the remaining 3 lots as profit. Doing this you can sell 7 lots of 2 different items for just 3 gold coins.

This is not the nly freemium game that I play that involves trading, and in all those games only 1 trade slot at a time is free and the others have to be purchased. At least in TSO trade slots may be purchased for in game resources, not all games are as generous and make you use their premium currency of choice.

I think a second permanent freebie slot that you could purchase would be nice.
Maybe for Guild Coins, and then for gems.

Partial trade... Yo, could decorate with all kinds of frills the TO, but imho, at least it works smoothly now, and clearly. There is not so complicated options, circumstances and conditions, and if anyone wants a more complex stuff, can choose the trade channel. If any change were come, the first is the history tab or filter... Other hand, hit the right lot size is a skill, should be practiced :-p

If we had to get them via quests or events that would be acceptable.

Bad idea, the trade office would be flooded with more bad trades. At least when you have to pay for a slot you put some thought into what you are listing.

Perhaps premium owners could have an extra free slot for trading?

The "good" way for commodities trade is to implement a market, with buy and sell orders that can be partially filled, rather than a fixed trade list. Then you get liquidity and easy to read current prices. There's a reason why modern markets operate on that model.

A few games understand that, although the inheritance of the "auction hall" model is hard to shake. It may be too late for this game, though.

What irritates me is that I have no realistic way of selling off my 200 Choc Rabbits in a realistic amount of time, since you can't stack them into a 4-trade and at 1-a-piece, I am obtaining them quicker than selling them.
In fact, many highlevels have similar issues with adventures/buffs, but actually that may be the only way to keep these items at their (already very low) value.

But as you may have realized, there are some members of the community who put up 10-15 trades at the same time, for gold coins - but still make profit.
How do they do it? Well, not going into details, but if they can - you can, too.

But removing the coin sink "Trade Office" is really, really a terrible idea.

One game I know had a feature similar to the "Trade Office" where you could either spend like 10-15 minutes of your playtime to get an item from the Market by running from your current location to the sales location, or spend an additional 10% just to "buy now". People actually chose the second option. Gladly. And it served a lot to keep inflation down. But it was still bad, because players easily obtained items en masse which they should never have owned in the first place: "Lowbie content" lost it's meaning, making half the game's content a wasteland.

Another game I know had an Auction House which deducted 15% of your gains from every sale - but it still killed the game because people would rather trade than play.

I don't think that "free trade" is good for the game.
In fact, probably the coin cost of additional trades should be increased in the light of gold towers.

to have more free spots would just promote more silly trades
at least when players are paying gold coins to buy slots they put good trades that sell
personally i trade loads and often, ive no problem with the slots..AND defo say NO to more slots
my only moan is that we cant stack buffs,ie exo baskets in one slot that is a pain

As much as I'd like more slots in TO, they shouldn't be free imo, but I would like more coin slots, never will spend gems on a temp trade slot tbh.
