Any good placement for 13farms+13 silos in S5 ? :)
No. Not enough room for 13+13 in S5. At least not that I have been able to build :)
I have managed 10+10 myself.
Haha, no, not going to do that on my live account no :D
You can log on to testserver and see for yourself though, that was what I did when I worked out how to place my siloes ;)
Sector 5: I am not convinced this is optimum yet so hopefully someone will post a better solution.

Sector 9: This is my solution - Very happy with the level 5 stuff but the others have too many fields per farm - just a bit too strung out. (You could replace one store with an improved store).

My setups are balanced
Here's a 9 Silo&Farm layout in Sector 9

Here's a 12 Silo&Farm layout on the border of S6 and S9. F is for Farm and S for Silo (probably obvious).

A few other arrangements, but probably best read with more words alongside the piccies (Note: external links).
Here's a 14 silo&farm layout in Sector 1 -> ThradeTSO - Silo Placements at Mayor's House
Here's a 7 silo/farm layout in Sector 8 -> ThradeTSO - Silos in Sector 8

17 farm and 17 silo setup
field sits at constant 2900 (was upgrading last two silo in screenshot)
longest walking 13.24
shortest walking 12.28
3732 wheat unbuffed @ lv4 per 12 hours
take no credit for this its from german servers, seems to work ok
Thanks all for the help , will see what i choose
now those are some really uggly layouts, or should I say those are not even layouts lol
here's a layout I am using:

The point is to have a layout that gives you completely balanced fields that never go empty with siloes. All my fields where built in february last year :)
I do not think all the suggestions here achieves that :p
You don't need to balance them as long as your storage is full of wheat
Something like this?http://i.imgur.com/BpQxw9O.pngQuote:

But actually I would happily add an extra farm or two and either replace one field a day or top up the fields once a week. My revised aim is to maximise wheat production and keep the maintenance needs manageable not to have a perfect balance.
By the way the silos do not top up fields if they are full - preferring to walk to a further away field that is not. That means that the economy tool is not as reliable as just looking at how much is in your fields one day compared with the previous day.
Don't use the eco toolfor that. You should simply, while placing Silos and Farms in a specific layout, place SIlos so that the summary walking time from them to the storehouses is smaller than the summary walking time from Farms. Like I did with my layout on page 1. Right now my Silos are sometimes refilling fields I have in sec3.
Merxe, not sure if I'm just missing one of them, but does your layout have 11 farms and 12 silos? I only see 5 farms in the top half.
Why should it matter how a player arrived at their solution. If it works it ain't broke so don't fix it.
I agree with Thrade about Merxe's layout, the river has prevented a farm from being placed so 11 farms & 12 silo's.
This setup has a perfect balance between the silos and the farms.

13 Farms + 13 Silos balanced in S5

looks nice but open that screenshot rightclick the picture and copy that url into the link instead of the screenpage link
Or 11 Farms and 11 Silos in S3

I'm here again :D How about 11 normal silos and 11 farms ? ( not in s3 or s1 )
Can be with normal store or improved .
