hi there, it would be nice you make new skins and design for the vet and the hardened generals, this way we can recognize them of the battlefield. Also to introduce a button to empty them in one go (empty general s button),it will avoid us to do all the sliding tabs one by one .

I totally agree with chicken about the idea of an "unassign all [troops]" button on a general's info panel.
Also, a "send home" button would be good too.
Not overly fussed about the sliders or an unassigned all, it doesn't take that long to be honest. I do however really want different looking generals, especially the premium and limited generals. The vet needs some plumage, Stronghelmet needs a mahoosive bucket on his noggin and Reaper is in desperate need of a scythe.
+1 for the unassign. The send army back is good as it is, no use for an additional button on a general.
I agree that neither of the 2 buttons are necessary, but at least a "send home" button on a general could reduce the risk of sending the wrong general home.
(Although it could increase the risk of sending the right general home at the wrong moment...):eek:

It is impossible to tell, as far as i can see, which army camp belongs to my vet and which to my battle hardened general and which to a normal general. Would it be possible to either have a modified icon for better generals or have their name appear as an overlay?
I've given my Generals names, amended it on the screen where you assign troops to them. As far as I can see it makes not a blind bit of difference though.
Naively I had hoped the General's name would be displayed on screen instead of mine.
I have four Generals, and they all look exactly the same.
It would be nice if the different types of generals had different types of camp. For an easy fix, could the tents be different colours or something similar? That wouldn't take long to do and would be easier than coming up with different camp configurations.
Even a coloured flag on the camp would work an extra icon overlay, but yea maybe just make the entire camp a different colour would be the easiest fix. Not an important thing, but would be nice to have and wouldn't be much extra work for the devs/designers.

At least have the name of the general appear on mouse-over instead of the useless 'garrison' we get now.

yet another suggestion which has fallen on deaf ears in the past.
any suggestions that would encourage you to spend slightly less time on the game prolly wont be taken up tbh - witness the new Quartermaster general (that you cant attack with) has a different looking garrison ;)

I just opened the forum up to suggest this. I want my grim to look halloweeny and the vet to look better than the commoner generals.
At the very least make it so the name of the general appears when you mouseover. This would give naming generals a real point. At the moment it's pretty pointless.
Even a flag or coat of armor to differentiate between garrison types would do for me. 12 gens reach landing zone, raise your hand if you are the major...

Different camp type, or a flag, or maybe even just a colour of the tent. *Something*.

this has been mention loads and was the reason they introduced the naming thing, which helps but a different graphic or probably the ability to colour the gens graphic (so a green trim like when you are in a ls) would help.
Same goes for the Smelters and Weaps on our islands. Some players have S.S and I.S together which can be an issue when buffing.
Its kind of difficoult to know witch general is a veteran and a major and a normal and so on when they arraive at an adventure, so it woud be very nice if the different classes had a different color on the Garrison tents, like blue stripes on a normal and red stripes on a veteran and brown on the major and purple on the mma and so on. it woud make the set up for attacks a lot easyer.

How's about some sort of colour coding applied to Garrisons so that you can easily identify the different generals. Suggest different colours (tent tops) for normal gen, bhg and the equivalent, vet, moma & Major.
Id be happy just to see the names we have allocated them above the tents tbh

if you have them on facebook, they've released pics of upcoming new gen camp models. only for the grim and mma so far, but hopefully the rest will follow.
colour coding would be a bit difficult for those with colourblindness but name above tent maybe. :)
